Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 40 years of age, female. My interests include music (any genre), reading a great novel, watching comedy, Restuaranting, and learning new things. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Depression feels very lonely for me. I'd like to reach out for some support. Thank you.

Hey all -

Blubs the hair sounds really cute and fresh, must look so lovely. I hate going short as well... Long hair is my thing too but I like to keep it healthy. Totally get what you mean about them cutting it too short and feeling upset. Our hair can be like our superpower and we feel it is part of us!

Monkey, keep us updated on the discharge.

Hey Sleeping beauty (Sleepy),
Highly disappointed with todays announcement although it didn't come as a surprise coz just before bed, I read a comment about this on Twitter - I don't usually take any comnentaries as fact without first doing some research, but it came from a reliable enough source, so I didn't do research. Long and behold, Dan did put off easing restrictions.
I have stood by Dan & silver fox, but some judgments made in recent times have been outrageous, this is one of them. With low case nrs (we're below 5 cases as a rolling avg - 5 being the benchmark) we should be opening up, despite the few out breaks in the north. We could easily track & trace these - with a lot of ease.
Thanks for the compliment re: hair. You said long hair is your thing also but want to keep it healthy? Are you suggesting long hair isnt healthy? Of couse it it. Split ends occur due to damage cause to it, not from having long hair. My hairs long, Ive no split end.
Love Blubes.

Hi Blubs I personally when going through depressin have not cut my hair - like now (it's been a year) so it looks like a farm animal or something - all these split ends very bad.
I hate it.
It's very hard for me to keep my hair healthy and maintain it. I took a medicatioon years ago which changed my straight hair to wavy and kinky and it's been hard ever since.
But I like the look of long hair and find it beautiful. I just suck at keeping it healthy. I love the look of long healthy hair - definitely didn't mean it wasn't healthy just can't keep it that way myself.

I'm upset to hear about no easing of restrictions - you guessed it!

We are kind of in the middle of this weird time now. I'm interested in the silver fox, glad Dan has him.

I have been obsessively following US politics on social media as well. I lived there for many years but other than that it barely affects me. But our news is grim and harsh.

Do you think they'll open businesses gradually? I hope so.

I love your minamilist approach I think it's really nice and soothing to be in minamilist spaces. Has a calming vibe.

Weird how medication affects almost all aspects of your body, even hair!! Goes to show you medication in the long term does more harm than good in most cases. I was on antidepressants for yours, until I weaned myself off them last year. It made NO difference. ABSOLUTELY none.

You're interested in the silver-fox? Lol. you and many other Victorian women out there. I've recently signed a 'change' petition to NOT have him sacked!! Libs and many others are calling for his resignation due to the hotel quarantine debacle.

It's good to get into politics, as everything in politics from the smallest of issues to major ones do affect us as citizens, whether its changes in law, elections and even U.S politics. They all affect us. The U.S election is in roughly 2 weeks, Trump could still win it - gosh, I really hope not. I'll be absolutely gutted and devastated!! The yanks have endured enough. Unfortunately, there's still a GREAT majority in U.S that buy into his b.s.

Blubes xx

Btw, busiensses are set to reopen on 2nd November.

Oh dear just as you guys mention U.S. politics I'm going through a terrible time with my American bf - supposed to be fiancee...

I don't think so.

Tbh I totally forgot about the U.S. election - bf is probably feeling stressed about that too.
He had a harangue at me about how their govt is stuffing up unemployment payments.

I just said we're handling it differently here and I'm fine with it all.

I can't get into politics, my anxiety skyrocketed to another stratosphere earlier in the year as I watched it all unfold - esp in the States. I can't watch news at all.

Once Blubes gets in, I'll watch it again lol. Otherwise they can do it all just fine without me watching.

I pay more taxes to them when I'm mentally well meaning I WORK MORE lol.

Feeling pretty ill tonight. Headache, so so so sad. Worried about the lumps. Miss my son so much it aches but I try hard not to think about it.

Bf yelled at me tonight "He's NOT DEAD, why can't you just get over it!"

I can't take it. I was doing really well tbh about son.

Love EM

The haraunge. Why? I mean must he? and, on all days, especially at a time when you need his support most - with the lump and all.
