Should I just suck this up?

OK, this isn't easy for me to write bcas I respect police also but this is my situation.

I aparantly unlawfully entered a friends property, that's right a friends property. He wasn't home and I wasn't believed. Anyhow I was put in a mental institution. I preferred the hospital choice over the police station choice thinking I'll be in there for a couple weeks.

3 months later I came out overmedicated feeling like shite...misdiagnosed with a mental illness as a " safety net" seriously!!!!

3 months of my life where I couldn't work, and live my normal life. Inclosed in a small space, going crazy.

Should I just " suck this up". ?

Hi all,

The surgery has now been postponed for another week on the 8th Sept because of the nurse's strike.

Omg Monkey how frustrating for you!

Hope you can get TONS of Self-care and TONS of YouTube in to distract yourself (if it's possible to distract yourself at all).

Thinking of YOU!

How are you feeling, Monkey?

I'm feeling pretty good because I might be buying a SUV tomorrow. I love the look of it just has to be great mechanically as well. Ill be buying it off a friend.

I haven't been working because they probably think I'm recovering from surgery so I've been lounging around the house. Might go for a swim tomorrow though if I buy the car.

It was my mum's 66 th birthday Sun so we went out for lunch. Took my grandmother out of the nursing home so she could be with us. My brother and his girlfriend ended up bringing their dog which jumped into the water and my brother jumped in after her and was wet head to toe. It was pretty funny.

We had a nice meal and went to the markets.

So now I've got 8 days until surgery.

Tonight we are going to a car draw at the club- fingers crossed.

Hey Monkey

Happy Birthday MUM! Sounds like you all had a lovely day, getting everyone together to celebrate.

I bet you're enjoying the break from work!

Great to hear about the new car, yeah after all the issues before with your other car.... ughh.
Have you thought about getting a Car check? Alexa paid $200 for one and it was good for her confidence in buying her car. It's been a real beauty.
Worth thinking about.

Yep the count down is on for surgery. What are you thinking of doing to keep busy?

Happy Birthday to your Mum. 😸

Monkey, it seems you take things in your stride much better than I do! It's so nice to read you were enjoying yourself, your Mum's Birthday, time with your grandma, the dog, your brother, swimming, lunch, checking out a car, maybe even win one, & the surgery is not taking too much of your attention. That's fantastic. You are doing things to feel good & relaxed. 😺

I will be thinking of you, Monkey, & hoping everything goes well. You've had enough drama for a hile.

Big ❤️ Hugzies,
