Truly hope you're doing well today, Jackson!

All the best,

Zoe

Sick of working from home get me out here

I have some good news though. My secondment has been extended indefinitely while my work manages the covid crisis response and there is no hiring during this time

Hi Jackson,

Hope you and the family are well. Easter certainly was different this year! I worked Saturday and Sunday so that kept me busy.

We are supposed to get rain here on the weekend, hopefully enough to settle the dust.

Working from home must be interesting with W.

Keep well. Cheers from Dools

Thanks Dools, you too.

Yes working from home is definitely having it’s challenges. He has taken a liking to the room as an office and wants to be in there with me all the time

Hey,

I'm over it all too. Congrats on the secondment bring extended. You're clearly doing a great job

Maybe W can be your first recruit 😊.

Fed up, I’ve gotta ask, is the disease worst than the impact of these restrictions? Has to come close, mental health was already a huge concern, soon we’ll be losing more people to their own hand than as a result of covid. The government grants do nothing for existing clients, for example, I’m on session 8 for my plan, 2 more to go, that’s roughly a month for me, one per fortnight and the way things are going there’s not a chance I’m stretching that out... so that means that I will be left with no support while this covid stuff is still happening, which is when I need it most. And I won’t be able to finish up with my current support face to face and will have to wait until next year to see them again.
They need to up the limit of sessions. I think many others will be the same. A month ago I was not even sure I’d need all 10 now I need more to get me through all this, but it looks like I’ll be cut off.

Thanks CMF, I was pretty pleased to hear that news. They have decided to hold off on recruitment for that role and another that was coming up too, and keep staff in their current jobs where possible. Which is good because I am loving this role even though it’s not in the capacity I hoped. Yes W is very busy joining in on some of less formal meetings with my team every now and then at the request of our team members who think he is the greatest, no matter what I do he always makes his presence known, and thrives off it, as I said when I first started working from home, he has fully worked out the door to the study slides if he tries hard enough and that there are toys put away in the cupboards which is funny when he discovers this during a meeting. Funny now but not at the time. We’ve babygated that room off now.
