It was a pretty big one.

I went home, after today I really didn't need that sort of thing. We get along ok, used to fight a lot when I was younger, gotten better now that I'm older, but we still have the occasional issue, still a lot of tension over my career choices and stuff

Ok gotcha.

I do think it's nice that he cares enough to get involved but At the end of the day it is up to you what you want to do, he can't force you.

I agree though, it has been an emotional week for you and you definitely don't need extra pressures. Does He know about you appointment today and what you have been going through. What does your mum say? Hopefully he will realise it was not a good time for you.

The argument wasn't about the job and study stuff though, even though it usually is.

I don't think he knows much, he knows I've been a bit anxious and stuff but as far as I know Mum hasn't told him the extent how bad things have been.

Mum didnt say anything, she was staying out of it but I was just fed up so that's when I decided to just walk out.

Times like this I wish things were how they used to be

He knows things haven't been easy and that's why I stayed here for a few nights a little while back, that's it

I understand. Your mum is in a tough position, if she takes one side she's going against the other. Hopefully after you left she may have had a quiet word with him. She doesn't have to tell him everything in detail but at least explain it's been a difficult week for you.

i don't blame you for walking out, I would do the same. There are days when we just don't need the extra crap. Do you have to work on the weekend at all? Do you have Monday off? The weather is looking ok, might get in a good surf.

Gee it was a big week for you, but you got through. You dealt with everything, as difficult as it was, but you did it. You shoukd be really proud of yourself, I know I am.

hopefully with these regular appointments things will start to feel a bit better for you. You've taken so many steps in the right direction and made positive progress. Give it time now, you've done all the right things.

Thanks CMF, I don't know how I managed to get through it all. I did really enjoy work though.

Tomorrow I have to work a couple of hours in the morning, it's just helping staff get ready for the day and doing the admin jobs that need to be done but I should only have to be there 2/3 hours max and then I have the rest of the long weekend off.

Yeah I'm hoping the surf is good. It feels like whenever I can't go, it's beautiful, whenever I can, it's terrible surf.

Sometimes we are stronger than we realise 🙂

I really need to call it a night I'm so tired. I'll be around over the weekend, I don't have any plans but I hope you get a good surf in! If you need to chat just post here I will keep an eye on it, or chill out in the BB cafe no doubt Kanga will be bouncing around there too lol.

you did great this week Jackson.

Dear Jackson~

I'm hoping you get some surf in too, hopefully the waves will be just what you want and you get that special feeling over and over.

I popped in to thank you for all your stories about you and your brother being such handfuls in

Forums / Staying well / Store Your Happy Memories Here:

It must have taken an awful lot of energy to try to keep the pair of you in order. Reading your memories will remind many others they were scamps too when young. Talking of silver coins, I glued a silver sixpence on the pavement where I could watch, and was late for school watching all these dignified people trying to pick it up (in the end someone did, so I lost it)

Take care

Thank you CMF and Croix

Haha that's funny. Yeah I do like looking back on those memories and having a laugh, didn't realise how much pain we put Mum through, my step dad put us into line a little bit I think when he came, but we were still pretty silly
