Hey,
Your Dr can give you a referral and put you on a plan for the 10 visits.
Headspace has a a free web chat service, here is the link with further info
https://eheadspace.org.au/
https://www.headspace.org.au/ I think if you ring them they will advise you further and give you more info re locations and cost.

No not a survey, it's the 10 visits you get with a referral from your dr. The 10 visits are called a mental health care plan.
sorry if I'm not making much sense, have a cough and a cold and a really stuffy head.

Yeah ok, how do they do the plan though, that's what I mean, is if like a bunch of questions? Do you need be diagnosed with something?
if the headspace centre is free do you still only get 10 sessions? I'm a bit lost with all this

Yeah I know it can be confusing at first but you'll be ok.
I'm not sure how headspace works as I've never used them before. Was there a phone number on their site? You could call and ask or your Mum could call if you feel a little nervous about it.
When I went to my dr a few years ago she was concerned about me having anxiety so she put me on a plan and referred me to a cousellor. I didn't have to answer questions or surveys I just chatted to her about what was happening in my life and how I was feeling. I didn't have a formal diagnosis as such but there was a concern about how I was feeling and anxiety.
Are you comfortable visiting your dr for a chat? They would be able to explain it all clearly.

I understand, I get nervous too so you're not alone there. All you need to tell them all you've been experiencing anxiety and would like help to see a counsellor. They will know what to do.
Do you feel comfy calling headspace, or your Mum could call if it helps.
It can be daunting, but you are doing great. You really are.
