Hi all
I find this entire phenomenon so bizarre! I've just started a blog http://angeljoylovehr.wordpress.com if anyone wants a squizz.
I'm using it to try and write out my story very slowly. Kind of face it and get it out of my head at the same time. I had a few normal (?) type posts then this morning I titled my post hell. People are checking it out and I'm thinking why? Seem to be thinking that a lot lately.
I'm not sure what my bigger problem is wondering why people want to read a blog titled hell rather than normal type musings or the fact that it freaks me out that people are reading it.
Anyone know if anyones ever done any studies on this phenomena?
Like put two glossy magazines on the coffee table in a waiting room one with the cover page about a warm fuzzy story and the other with a massive disaster story. I'd be fascinated to know if the warm fuzzy one would even be looked at...

Dear amamas,
Extremes sell. Human nature.
Adios, David.
PS I'm at a car black spot with accidents weekly. If there's a Care Flight chopper involved then about 150 people come out and take photos. There'll be only 2 or 3 at the car talking to the pregnant lady whose trapped and waiting for "The Jaws of Life" from the Fire Brigade to free her. Maybe it's the tragic public empathising with the tragedy ? I'm sure Christopher Banks will have an opinion.

Hey David
I was talking to my nephews violin teacher today (as an aside I'm learning too - my aim - to be able to play none other than the mighty Come on Eileen. Have you seen the dude on You Tube who plays it? Four of him playing together - that's my inspiration)
Anyway I was talking to her and she was telling me how all the kids she teaches put on this AWESOME concert, like really good and all she's heard from parents are complaints.
Why didn't little Martha get to play a solo? Why didn't someone stop Jimmy peeing in the bushes outside the hall? Why were so many people allowed in the audience?
Ties in with the thread!
Hello people WHY don't you try to enjoy the magnificence of your kids achievement then perhaps you wouldn't even notice where Jimmy peed.

Hey amamas,
It's not just school concerts that get domestic complaints. There was a show at the Opera House when the main singer was reminded by a lady on the 3rd row that he had forgotten to zip up his trousers (one assumes after a pre gig pee). Everyone that night would have remembered this bizarre behaviour. The performer: Al Jarreau. He's one of the hippest cats around but the focus was elsewhere.
Your nephews violin teacher might have met the next Al Jarreau.
In my professional music work having a musician turn up is considered a relief and there is always anxiety about that kind of thing. So many top performances come out of anxiety. In the acting world if you don't get butterflies in your stomach before show then you're considered to be not much of a pro. Break a leg might have been replaced with break a bladder with Jimmys' situation. A true rocker would have vomited on stage and then trashed the scene. Even Justin Bieber vomited last month during a gig. These entertainers sure give value for money.
In the recording world the only thing musicians remember is the food. Because playing music and all that is taken for granted. But Thai food ????
Adios, David.
