Ive really tried for years, over and over to think postive. To act positive. To work on my fitness and my health and be happier. But its wearing me down. Listening to the news is so sickening. The amazon is burning down, the reef is dying, the animals are becoming extinct, the world is polluted , about to be hit by astroids and going into recession if we dont nuked by crazy politicians. Diseases are out of control. I used to donated to save the children charities (like millions of other givers) but the children still look as starving and homeless as ever.
In my humble opinion the corporate company I work for part time takes advantage of its female workers. I cant trust the people I thought I could trust. I struggle on my income and have no idea what will happen to me when Im too old to work in the not too distant future. Ive worked really really hard all my life but have hardly any superannuation or savings due to previous partner arrangement. My current partner keeps his own money and dosnt share.
I just dont see the point anymore. Its too hard. I used to have a lovely smile but I cant even get the corners of my mouth to lift. Its like there are lead weights there. I had a day off today. First day off in about 10. I had so much to do but I still have my pjs on and its 4.30pm. I just feel like a failure and an idiot all the time

Hi, welcome
I have a saying, :worry produces only ulcers".
i fully understand your concern for our earth. It is a sincete and vompasdionate attitude and you should be appreciated for it.
However, we also need to be realistic in that we, the average human being, does not have the power for change as individuals only as collective by doing those individual efforts.
Anything beyond such thoughts are going to be counter productive amd vause you worry and ill mental health.
This oit of context thinking a state I had in 1987 needed therapy which helped a lot. I cam recall my therapist saying "Tony, when are you going to stop saving the world".?
As far as your less than healthy bank balance, remember, the best of life is free. Natute, animals, the bush and love. Go camping, look at the stars...appreciate.

I have a similar mindset when it comes to world issues. It's good that you care, we always need more people who care about that kind of thing.
If it makes you feel any better, we're more aware about Environmental issues than what we were many years ago. We, as a species, unfortunately have a problem where we always like to focus on the negative and only bring up the negative when it comes to serious talk. So that's why a large majority of the internet has only bad news (And even toxic opinions!) out there. I heartily recommend to cut yourself out of the Media cycle. The whole thing is designed to scare you. If you need good news, I also recommend the "Uplifting news" reddit. Not every single report that's posted on there is correct, but a lot of them are, it's a good reminder to know that other people care, just as much as you do.
I've been talking to my dad about a lot of world issues and he's a lot more level-headed than what I am. These past current generations of people are more aware of the current state of the world... It's just unfortunate that a lot of politicians aren't as aware.
Remember the Hole in the Ozone layer? I remember reading news reports about it years ago and how it'll destroy us all, yet very recently it was announced that it's slowly repairing itself. We saw what was causing the problem and we fixed it.
It's a very scary time on the internet right now. The internet's in hysteria over the Amazon rainforest fire and we're all scrambling for solutions.
Please don't give up hope, do what you can to help, but please don't give into despair. The world has always been rife with issues and you NEED to focus on your own health.
