Hey Sebastian 4472
Great to meet you and thanks for joining the BB forums, I think you might be right, this winter has seemed really long, really cold and yes kind of MORE than other years. We haven't had a good does of sunshine yet but I am hopeful that with the better weather in site that the rays of sun will put us in a better head space.
Hope you come back to chat, it would be great to hear how you are feeling once the weather improves.
hugs to you Sebastian4472

Hello Sebastian, thanks for joining the forums.
It can be difficult to get a grip on life when the weather is cold, raining outside and using the heater, which we need, but the cost is always a worry, but even if we are feeling comfortable any MI will prevent this from happening.
Are you able to do the K-10 test by using this link in your search browser
-https://www.beyondblue.org.au › the-facts › anxiety-and-depression-check
Try and do this test several times, but not straight after one another, but different times, even on a good day if possible.
This will give you an indication of how you are feeling, then you maybe able to start writing down on a piece of paper exactly what is causing all of this.
I would then book an appointment with your doctor, you may need a double appointment and take the K-10 result and what's been written down.
Would love to hear back from you.
Geoff.

Hi Geoff
I should have introduced myself more formally but that first post was very much a case of "testing the water".
I am a retiree and started taking anti-depressants nearly 20 years ago. My GP feels my current and lengthy bad patch might simply mean the drug has lost its efficacy and this week I started on one of the 2nd generation SSRI drugs. So far so good.

Hi Sebastian, I'm also a retiree or rather on a DSP Centrelink and have also been on the same AD for over 20 years, although it's been increased to the max dosage.
Please keep in touch with us and let us know how you are going.
Geoff.
