Hello everyone! 😄
I don't know if anyone has made this yet, but I wanted to make a thread about TV shows. I know I'm obsessed with them and they help me bring me out of depression so I thought, how about everyone else? Well I'm going to get started and name my top TV shows which are:
1. Doctor Who
2.Supernatural
3.Sherlock
4.Orange is the New Black
5.Once upon a Time
And plenty more! So just put down you favourite TV shows down and we can talk... yea.... 😄

Since when can anyone have too much SciFi? Um, not possible.
Kirk or Picard? What a stoopid question, undoubtedly Kirk -- for the original series of Star Trek is the one benchmark from which all other SciFi shows are judged. Even back in the 70's Star Wars was measured against it.
Now days, for me, it's Dark Matter, The Expanse, and we can't go past Grimm. But then the time proven classics of Dr Who and the spinoff Torchwood continually remain ever vigilant in the repertoire.

Hey SB,
Janeway 😉 I love them all. I met and shook hands with William Shatner, shared a joke, he is an amazing man. I enjoyed Boston Legal too and I am a big James Spader fan so Shell76, I like The Blacklist too.
Grimm is excellent. Dr Who and Torchwood also go without saying. I haven't seen the other 2 but just added them to my list, thanks!
Fairy Wings,
Try Hart of Dixie. I think it will really appeal to you lovely. I hope all is well with Dion xx

I am feeling the odd one here, I haven't seen any of these tv shows you have mentioned, except one. Monarch Of the Glen. Look dear Carol,I found a match with you!😀
I bought the first season of Monarch of the Glen from an opportunity shop for about $2 or some amount like that. Such beautiful Scotland hills and accents in that one.
Here is some more that I like, yeah all the old fashioned types:
Little House on the Prairie
The Waltons
Leave it to Beaver ( from the 1950's I think)
The Andy Griffith Show
Hazel
My Three Sons
Old Lassie tv series
Father Knows Best
Grizzly Adams
Yep that's my lot......

Leave it to Beaver w finished up in '63 but I don't know when it started.
Grizzy Adams and Gentle Ben (both starring the same bear) I got them both at home.
Most of those are available on US Netflix, but they keep blocking the VPNs so we can't watch them.

Dear Venessa,
My heart goes out to you lovely. Sorry about the spelling. Deon, I will try to remember xx My daughter was a runner, can't tell you how many times I lost her at the shops. I ended up with a year I couldn't take her anywhere. People used to offer to look after her and I couldn't let them because she was just too much. That in itself is so exhausting and tears at your heart when you think they might get hurt.
You are such a good Mumma bear. I am glad you could stand up and explain your needs to your family. You put so much energy out there it is no wonder you need some time for you. I hope you find a way to reenergise at night maybe after he is asleep. Maybe a soak in a bath and a book to escape?
It is wonderful that you are sharing dancing with him and the friendship with his teacher sounds wonderful. My daughter's studio has a special needs group and they just love it! It is a joy to watch their performances.
Much love to you xx
Hey Shell,
The scenery is stunning in Monarch of the Glen. I like all the older ones you have mentioned too though I haven't seen Hazel or Father knows best. You might enjoy The Darling Buds of May, Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version with Colin Firth), The Paradise and Downtown Abbey if you see them around.

Hello.
Fairywings - Your son sounds like a really tough kid. I mean that in a good way. He can only have got that goodness from you. I know the autism must be hell some days, but your boy has so much to offer the world as well.
I really like english shows like Marple and Poirot. I'm not too much into american schmaltzy stuff, but in my honest opinion, american t.v is getting much better. English t.v in many ways is still more superior. Misfits was an awesome show. The Royle Family and any comedy with dark, dry humour.
Thanks
Panther
