It would be so great to have a thread here where we can chat about almost anything. We can have fun, tell jokes, share stories, you name it!

There's a "BB Cafe" thread in the general area where lots of people chat daily and have established some nice light hearted conversations, it's treated as if it's a real cafe, there's even virtual baked goods and coffee!

Let's create a chat here for anyone to join, in particular the GLBTIQ community to let their collective hair down and chill out. It's a safe space to be yourself.

We just need a name 🙂

ahhh I spoke too soon...I think that it is that old that they have cleaned up the pages and it is no longer there..ahh well....but I will be sure to check out your first post. There is something pretty raw and special in the first posting of a person..the initial purge and the relief..you can feel it as you read.

Good morning Sarah wonderful friend . A chill in the air this morning . LD has 3 pet beds she can get in , today is coldest so far but oddly not in degrees but chill . LD is not in the chair so far today she is in 1 of the 2 beds in the lounge . Still in sight of each other she keeps it that way when in Clingon mode as she is at the moment .

I was so very thrilled to hear about your weekend , I still miss you when your busy but I know your there and are a bit envious of the busyness you have . Have a safe warm happy day beautiful human xxx. Muffin day!

As things progress here I find am self isolating here as not that ready to face this place .Gets a lot of writing done though . I will be soonish I think just not sure of this ice mob ? Hopefully just over thinking .

Will contact BB soon as have been holding back to see what if anything ( which am sure we can ) we ( we being myself and allies , can talk with them tomorrow ) can do in conjunction with them . Have been wondering about first responder courses or bit more involved phone councillor course but would have to be remote learning . Like the idea of educator of some sort ?

Was hesitant about your first post sweet lady , we entered this space I feel from opposite directions . Did you find mine ? It was 5 days after Jo's birth . Had been reading and putting things together in my head for a couple of months before I was confident to move out of the shadows . Very glad I did , did not know this many beautiful people existed let alone in one place . Have always loved everyone and everything but that sometimes got me hurt . To find here is like winning lotto ! xxxx

This seemed like a good idea at first but I am kind of stressing about this girl I like. We've been friends for ages and I don't even know if she is into girls herself. Any ideas?

I am a long way West of Bris on the edge of the never never . Winter is teasing us at present , will be here very soon . Desert climate , cold but sunny ( mostly ) in winter and dry and hot in between . Autumn and Spring are nice . I like summer and we get most of our rain from summer thunderstorms . x

Hi Sarah , LD is a tight little ball on the chair next to me today , wrapped in a hand spun and knitted wool jumper . Pretty cute when asleep and not grumpy . When we are working ( usually west of here ) I keep the fur short because of burs but as we haven't worked much for a while she has proper fur . Last night she stayed on top of bed ( cuddled up though ) and woke me up twice growling . People outside , going past thankfully . Might be an ice weekend ? Hope not ! Its a lot like weather , you can't be sure till it plays out . Have seen some scary looking things in the sky at sea and they have amounted to nothing ?

What amazing things are you up this weekend ? Quiet relaxing or headless chook stuff ❤ . Whatever it will be may it be very happy time .

Had a call at almost close of business time yesterday , my Psych lady , had forgotten to do a questionnaire we needed to do . She is looking after me so well , am getting more sessions and changing doctor at same time so a few t's need crossing and I's dotting . Still flowing . Was telling her I won't be beautiful but elegant , she thinks we will see beautiful ? In dreams maybe 😂 . Much love warmth hugs and kindness for you very special human xxxx.

Very light cold breeze outside this morning , the moonlight is strong and gives a silvery sheen to our little town . Quite beautiful , occasionally a road train rumbles through town turning from orange to red as it passes on its,quest to find its destination ? Longreach , Cloncurry , Karumba , Mt Isa , Darwin or maybe Alice Springs . Some seek the gas fields in SA ( Moomba ). They all pass through . Some turn left in next big town west of hear and head south to Cobar and the Barrier Highway then on to Adelaide or keep going on to WA where you can take your pick at the Kambalda turn off to go to gold fields or north from Kalgoorlie to northern goldfields or the the Pilbara. Or just stay on The Great Eastern Highway to Perth ?

Wow , such a huge beautiful stunning country we have here ! There are many kilometers to travel . Fond memories ! Guess I am just a gypsy at heart , and I hope that never leaves me !

Hello my dear friends

I love your new pic here LD, you are such a treat to me and actually make my heart sing.

I wanted to say something to you Jo and that is how I felt when I saw your post to Eos, and in your opening you said "I am a trans woman"..the joy I felt for you in owning this, in knowing this and the pride I could feel from those words on the screen...this is you, I felt so proud of you and felt so happy and so much love that you are coming into who you are..in fact I feel like you have arrived!

My weekend was so fun..you will laugh when you read about what I have been up to...are you ready for this.....

I WENT ROLLER SKATING...yes you read that right....we had the best time, while we started off wonky and like the 46 year old mums that we are, it was not long before we were flying around the rink like old times. It was so fun Jo and we are going to really try and make it again soon...I am even thinking of buying a pair of roller skates of my own....look at me go...lol

How was your weekend?

I have indeed read your first post..it is just amazing how far you have come really..it actually blows my mind. The journey that you have been on and the things you have learnt, not only about yourself but they way in which you now reach out to others....this is the stuff that makes me love this space so dearly, when people (including myself) come here for support, screaming out sometimes for answers and then end up filling up others cups and providing a hand to others...it is the best! As you say, to find this space is really like winning lotto!

I see you mention Mt Isa..I was actually born in Brisbane and lived the first three years of my life in Mt Isa. I don't really have memories of it but have seen many photos and they all seem to be me without clothes looking very unhappy with the heat..lol

I love the idea of what you say about being a gypsy at heart, I sometimes feel like I would just love to get in the car and drive, and drive to no where and to everywhere and to just soak up the beauty of this country and move to the next destination when I am done with the current one...one day maybe!
