It would be so great to have a thread here where we can chat about almost anything. We can have fun, tell jokes, share stories, you name it!

There's a "BB Cafe" thread in the general area where lots of people chat daily and have established some nice light hearted conversations, it's treated as if it's a real cafe, there's even virtual baked goods and coffee!

Let's create a chat here for anyone to join, in particular the GLBTIQ community to let their collective hair down and chill out. It's a safe space to be yourself.

We just need a name 🙂

It's the greatest feeling to finally have positive results after a long sojourn of failure. Being honest with your GP without fear was a stroke of genius; gutsy.

You know, so many of us want the world to save us, but until we stand our ground calm and collected, we don't really know what we're capable of. Now you do! 😉

Could you explain T for us and what it means to you? I'm sure readers and posters alike will benefit from your story. That's if you're up to it of course.

I had a fabulous post going when bam!! Lost the page...again. Blah! I think my security program's a bit over zealous.

As I was saying, the first Star Wars movie in the late 70's was my fave for a really long time. "Use the force Luke" lol I had chills when this was said; so ahead of its time.

Love Harry Potter! I'm 'Ravenclaw' and proud of it. 🙂 An intelligent, knowledgeable and witty Eagle! My star-sign animal is the eagle. Go figure?

Basically though, I'm a Jack and Jill of all trades which really suits my bi nature. One day a diamond, one day a block of wood. lol

I love live stage musicals! My fave of all time is 'Pricilla; Queen of the Desert'. Next would be 'Phantom of the Opera'. Both spectacular in their own ways. Best of all though is the music. Mmm...

I don't get to see as many as I'd like being out in the sticks n all. (Shucks Cletus! Ah gotta brang the goats in fa melkin') Ee he he

I'm taking my sis to one in November, but for the life of me, I can't remember its name. Stupid ptsd!

Ah! I just remembered; 'Muriel's Wedding'. Can't wait! Getting my flares out of storage to wear. 😉 The brain's a quagmire sometimes...

I'm out of sorts today, but I saw your name and thought I'd read one more post before retiring to my life.

I laughed thru my tears hun. I'd give anything to see you wearing those skinny jeans 🙂 while we skipped the queer light fantastic! Then we could be two mutton lambs (oxymoron) hugging, getting pissed and laughing as we crawled thru crowds together. Two girls out on the town...I'll hold your hair while you spray the pavement if you hold mine.

Hopefully I'll be back on board in the next couple of days. Thinking of you with paradoxal tears of joy and sadness.

i havent been here for a while but i wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone

Raynor. I'm so happy for you. That is a huge victory. Looks like you have found a good doctor. Finally one that has some sense and is actually listening to you and what you want.

Sara. My mum did the pottermore quiz 3 times and got 3 different answers. She didn't get the personality type questions the first two times. She got slytherin first time and she is definatly a Ravenclaw with maybe a bit of hufflepuff but she is definitely not a slytherin. My housemate is so I have no problem with slyterins. Need every type of person :). And star wars. I have watched all the bonus features on the old films. Did you know that only Mark Hamil and George Lucas knew that Darth Vader was Lukes father. The actor in the suit said a fake line and James Earl Jones said the No I am your father. Half the film crew found out when it was released. I also love musicals. A really good one to see is Kinky boots. It was amazing.

startingnew I'm good. Trying to keep busy. Trying not to let work stress cause my anxiety to flare up like it has in the past when I'm stressed.

Sara, so sorry to hear you’re having a rough time. I wasn’t really gutsy. I just had nothing to lose at that point. It’s good to know that surprises are not always bad though. I’m gonna try to remember that one I think.
