Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ... 

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

Hi tealflowers, - whether talking or not, it's lovely to see you here. What's your favourite breakfast?

We have everything, literally everything, always available anytime at the BBCafe, & it costs nothing more than the naming of what you'd like. Depending on your imagination, I might rummage around in the big pantry, or take a dog sled into the freezer or a few days, or it is me talking & purring to the Star Trek Replicator™️ on the wcounter, for you to be enjoying whatever your tummy desires.  It might even be a heap of blueberry jam on a place - if you neglect to imagine the toast, or in your lap, if you neglect the plate, too... 😹 (I wish for an emoji, 'cat ROTFL')

I'm so glad I can still fill my hollow legs up with, hot, strong & milky coffee, in a cup almost large enough to bathe in, here in BB Cafe. Don't think I can't imagine that? Just watch me! 😺

I was thinking about waffles yesterday. When I was a little kitty, we had waffles, the same way we had pancakes, with maple syrup or brown sugar syrup, & butter. Now, I'd add eggs with somewhat soft yolks onto the waffles. Pancakes would do with a little fresh finely chopped fruit, like strawberries, blue berries, & mmMulberries - of-course! Plate: one with a raised edge, no nothing spills off while cutting into the stack. Green, or blue, or purple... a few happy flowers around the edge & in the centre. Why not?

May I suggest a name for EM's exotic coffee blend? "Beroccoffee"? 

& EM, "Aunty Kitty"? I don't think I qualify..

Good Morning BB Cafe Friends,

I baked yesterday afternoon. It was going to be an apple cinnamon tea cake, but I couldn't resist adding nuts and seeds. I can call it an apple cinnamon granola cake. Breakfast food! Nice with my morning coffee, minus the Berocca today.

One thing I miss about weekend farmers markets was the home made jam stall. Lemon Lime Ginger marmalade was delicious. I am motivated to look around and find a market which runs on the last Sunday of the month. We should get better weather this Sunday.

Apple Cinnamon Granola Cake sounds great to me! But since I'm having waffles, I'll keep the cake for morning tea, which is maybe just an hour away. Pretty good deal, eh?

Waiting for some more groceries - & guess what? Lettuce was cheaper this week! I can have a proper salad with iceberg lettuce for lunch! 😺The tomatoes were still expensive, but I can make something like a caesar salad.

I've still got to eat some dinner ... I'm undecided about what to have. Whatever I have, it's going to be on lettuce, or have lettuce in, or maybe I will snack on lettuce leaves later... I meant to have some earlier, but, forgot. I't's been a while, you know, & I just forgot I have some again. I meant to put some in the wrap bread, with the onion & cheese & sausage. So I have still to have more vegies, could have eggs, (for real, unlike the imaginary eggs I had here), I'm thinking: omelette, with lettuce & vegies.

I have a suspicion emoji supplied on this Forum use more characters than you would expect. I'm totally guessing that as these are a imported PNG graphics the word count may include the mouse-over text 🙂 (in this case "slightly_smiling_face")

If this is so emoji might well be space-hogs (kind of reminds me of "S.S. Swinetrek" in the Muppets:)

I use Word and paste the result in here, however there is a catch: the character count in my copy of Word (Desktop 2019) is greater than the editor here counts. Basically, if Word reports 2,500 characters including spaces but no emoji it will generate the “Message cannot exceed 2,500 characters.” error message when pasted in here and I hit POST.

I normally aim for 1,960 (YMMV) in Word and that seems safe enough. I've not bothered to find the exact amount.

no problem Croix. how is everyone? i had some gastro earlier, but i feel okay now. i've had sinus coming & going also. i'm not sure if i should get sinus tablets or a nasal decongestent spray, i usually just use vicks on my chest  & back which helps a little, plus i like the smell (but i like the smell of dencorub too, & deep heat, lol). i can't take some sinus meds due to an ingredient in them which i probably can't mention here, as it will affect my antidepressants & my psychiatrist told me not to take things with that ingredient in them. but luckily i can find non drowsy ones & ones without that ingredient. anyway sorry for my rambling.
