The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

Hello everyone,
Paul, I’m so sorry that happened to your Holden…We bought a Monaro GTS back in the 80s…same thing happened….It’s good that the newer cars don’t rust out anymore…
Moon, oh course I’ll put my arms around you sweetheart, and giv you a gentle caring hug, while I cook you up a bowl of Vegetable soup…with some freshly made croutons to throw on top….Plenty for everyone on this cold winters day….
I have a craving 24/7 for chocolate 😂😂…What is it about chocolate that makes it some addictive….
Moon, I rushed over yours with my hotted up 🚜…jump on dear friend, hold tight, seat belt done up….snuggle up into the blanket I put in for you…and we’ll be at the famous BB Cafe in around 1.56sec…with hot soup, croutons and a healthy dessert of my homemade fresh fruit salad…
mmMeKitty, Imagination can takes us to the most peaceful of places….places that don’t exist in the real word…One of my wishes today, if I could have a genie, would be to spend a night sleeping amongst the clouds and playing with the stars….maybe I’ll make a shiny, glittering necklace, bangle and earrings…Then wear them at night to light my way in the most beautiful of ways….
Grandy..

Hey, Moon, don't rush off too soon - I've got some mmMarshmallows for you, & the fireplace is cosy & you can roast them on the end of this long skewer; no worries. You can let the mmMarshmallows get a little crispy on the outside & when your teeth break the crust, you can enjoy the sweet gooeyness inside. I like to set mine alight for half a second, then blow out the flame to give them a darker shell.
I've thought, the hotter & therefore gooeyer the mmMarshmallow the sweeter it is.
That was a lovely bit of imagining, Grandy, all the glittering star jewelry put a smile on my face tonight.
Paul, about 18, I was leaving home & not a minute too soon.
This winter has sure turned into a cold one, colder than I can recall for several years, at least, though not the worst, I'm thinking. But there is still July ahead ...
Hello Matchy, it is lovely to see you again. I've been busier too. I hope you & your family have been well.
I am hoping everyone has had an enjoyable evening, & will have a good day tomorrow.
Hugzies to all

I will happily join you all for some marshmallows. I'll also bring some chocolate and crackers to make s'mores, because they're also delish.
Grandy, you're very right about imagination. What a beautiful thing to be able to create worlds and ideas in our own mind.

Hello BB Cafe dwellers
My first visit. Hesitant about what to say as most of you seem to know each other.
I will use my usual philosophy and just jump in as me.
I love campfires and miss them.
I smelt the smoke and spotted the flames.
I read the mention of marshmallows and then ooh chocolate.
Okay hot soup sounded very encouraging also.
Chocolates and crackers together? I need to know more
I bring potatoes to bake in the embers
I will wander off at times in search of the incredible stars
Enjoy

Hello Dear Emotions26,
Welcome to our cafe, we have great bonfires most night, Potatoes baked in the embers…they are so yummy, thank you….Bonfires most nights through these cold winters nights, all sitting around and enjoying each other’s company, chatting together with our Jukebox playing everyone’s choice of song…
Hmmm. I’m a star lover, often sitting outside rugged up in a blanket just watching the beauty of the stars overhead….I live rural and with no street lights, the stars are amazing…
We’ll let you pick the next song on the jukebox if you want to….I was born in the 50s and my song choices are usually, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Simon and Garfunkel and most of the 60s and 70s bands and singers…..I’ve just put on “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”….Something about that song makes me feel comforted…
Chocolate…yummy….my go to comfort food…although I do need to change that…..one day😁, but todays not that day😂😂..
Again welcome to our wonderful cafe…looking forward to seeing around our cafe grounds, when you feel up to it…
Hugs Dear Emotions26 and everyone…🤗..hope everyone’s day is going good..
Grandy..

Hello Em26, SB, Grandy & everyone
Hot chocolate & crackers? Yeah I scratch my head a bit too, but if they are like some biscuits, one could dunk them just the same, right? Whatever we like! Maybe I will go all out & get some of those chocolate covered mmMarshmallow bikkies & dunk them in in milky mocha-chocoloate, yum!
Anyone know how to make damper?
"Bridge Over Troubled Water" is one great song, Grandy. It'a all about offering care & support to someone when they are struggling.
Em26, as well as the juke box, we also have a very extensive larde & kitchen, a pool table, (where you may find me LRC, sleeping on top most nights) a long & deep windowsill in the morning sun.
here are farm animals & fresh produce outside, a ppol with (I've just decided) heating for winter swimming & floating furniture for star gazing, cloud watching, bird watching, or snoozing.
There are hills & feilds, trees & a playground - whatever we imagine, it's here.
Oh, & the wall of popcorn machines. Mind that one over there, with the fishes on it - LRC's fishy flavoured popcorn comes out of that one.
Today I've had a ccombo of rice, kangaroo sausage pieces, fried onion, capsicum & pineapple pieces for lunch. I lightly friy the capsicum & pineapple too towards the end of my preparation. It's turned out pretty good.
I would love to do actual star gazing, especially out where there is no light pollution. That would certainly be a bonus of living in a rural area, Grandy. I've had a fascination with astronomy since I was little.
I've got this big rainbow coloured extra furry hooded pullover, really cosy when the weather feels freezing. That's been great - even slept in it a few times. It's big enough for two of me, but that's the way I like it.
Hugzies everyone
