The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ... 

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

GOOD MORNING BB CAFE goers! 

What a beautiful morning it is here! What's the weather like where you are? 
LOVELY weather for drying clothes on the clothes line 😀 hahaha. 

The birds were SO HAPPILY chirping outside at 6am lol... I just got up to enjoy the day with them lol. 

Made plenty of decaf coffee with fresh cream for everyone. 
Brought in plenty of pastries to share for brekky. 

LOTS of eggs from my girls on offer... I'll have mine poached with Hollandaise sauce please. 

I'll be strapping my garden boots on soon IN my pyjamas lol and taking some food down to the chickens. 
They love eating freshly picked sprouts, so I'll get some of those growing in spots. 
They also love my parsley I have far too much of lol... they can have some parsley and some fresh grass too. 

I'm off for my morning adventures.

Please can I have some of the parsley with the eggs & Hollansaise on toast, with a bit of ham or salmon, too, & lightly fried tomato on the side.? All this sounds like one of the best combinations of food for breakfast, to me. Usually, I don't want to mess about making it up early enough to still call it 'breakfast'. By the time I do it's almost 'Lunch'. 

I'm opting for some porridge, again, as my tummy requires... it's fine enough with sultanas, a little brown sugar & milk, but not like anywayfancy. It's a practical breakfast I need sometimes.

Hi OTR, tealflowers, sorry I wasn't able to be up so late to chat. I have to listen to the needs of the body.

Sometimes, I wonder, who's in charge in here anyway? I thought I was, but my body seems to have other ideas, & shows so much displeasure when I ignore it. Then, eventually, I can no longer refuse to hear, & obey! 

So, I noticed my body is making other demands, & I'm having porridge. That'll help something in there for a little while. Not necessarily nice for me, but better in the long run.

Ecomama, we had a pretty beautiful day over here too, very warm which was a pleasant surprise. 

What does everybody else enjoy for breakfast? Eggs benedict, toast, a bagel perhaps? I'll get the BB café stove prepped for tomorrow 🙂

It's another one today here. The icy edge on the air seemed to leave pretty early today, in the sunshine anyway lol. Haven't been down to feed the chickens yet eeek. 

Thanks for being in the kitchen tomorrow. I'll have Bernaise sauce on mine please! 
Yeah all the sauces I don't bother making at home lol. 

I took the day off today. A mental health day for me. Just doing house things, grabbing a few things from the shops, READING! Maybe even spending time in the sun shiny sunshine.

Good morning everyone!

I'm a touch on edge today! less than 30 days until my rental lease expires and my partner and I have not yet heard anything from the real estate about the landlord agreeing to renew the lease. I'm fairly confident they will issue a new lease agreement - but the prospect of trying to look for a new rental is mind racking!

Alexa's landlord signed the Lease 2 days before! She was beside herself, packing up her stuff... kind of. 
Then it came. 
The next time he signed it immediately lol, if only the Landlords realised how much stress this time is for renters atm.

Actually, I think I heard a bird very early this morning, while the sky was still quite dim, & I was shifting about, wanting to get at least another hour of sleep. Waking at that time, though, usually now means I won't get any more sleep, but I had a light doze. That's okay, until I notice how cold my face was feeling.

Those brekky pastries sound delicious. Can I have some for dinner? I get so tired in the eavening, I don't want to cook so much. Seems if I do any baking, which requires some preparation, I need to do it at lunchtime, before my first catnap.

It got a little cloudy & I felt cold again. I can't wait to be complaining that it's too warm!
