The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ... 

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day here today, I even wore a T-shirt working in my garden. 

Now it's icy cold, windy and raining.

Back to winter all day here... we didn't get out of single figures & lots of rain... 

Pizza would be nice... thank you Em   

I think I might have a Hawaiian one - yes I'm one of those odd folk who like pineapple on pizzas.

I will get the kettle on - hot drinks definitely a must this evening... the best part is whatever type you want we can do in the cafe... 

The indoor wood fire is blazing... lots of comfy seats around it...

Paul, what? Comparing weather to CANADA!? Oh dear! Coldest place I've ever been in Winter was Utah, MAN it was cold there. Switzerland and Canada had "manageable cold" that year, not Utah ugh.

Paws thanks for starting up the Fireplace lol, we NEED it! Hawaiian pizza it is lol, someone at mine ALWAYS orders Hawaiian, they also love 80s music so they've got GREAT taste! hahahaha. 

Kitty's still in bed but we'll have her eggs with parsley done the moment she wakes up!

I like my piza with pineapple, too. Here I could have mild salami, but usually I hae chicken or ham, onion with BBQ sauce (or approximate, because the BBQ sauce on the shelves has so much sugar), & extra cheese of-course.

Sorry I missed brekkie, & the radio - whatever that was about & which station? Got me curious. 😸

& Gambit? Who's Gambit? I haven't seen you here - but at any rate, you are most welcome, too.

A little bird woke me again, 5:45 am, with a series of 5 pips, 5 times each this time. I think the little bird is a mathematician. Nice to hear but too early!

Had a bit of rain last night, with a chilly breeze, too.Everything seems fine today, so I think it's me that is off, feeling too ccold  when I really houldn't.

While thinking, I laid down, to also try to settle my tummy, & I fell asleep! I know I don't get enough sleep during the night, but usually, I don't catnap before lunch. While I have a pie in the oven, too - that's bad! I realise it's not turned up hot enough, so my lunch will be late. So, thanks for the pizza! 😹

Sorry EM, I was watching INsight last night, so missed the Futsal. They really want to play when it'sso cold?

Hey Paul, are you kidding? Hahaha I've owned thermals here for decades!! It's all that Islander blood that can't cope with the cold, I'm sure. Cold being ummmm less than 18C lol. My BF travels to Alaska for work and that's purely unspeakably cold. He was once frozen in at the Complex for 2 WEEKS! Since then, he tries to time his trips to Alaska in SUMMER. 
Yes Utah is AWESOME! We parked our car on the frozen Salt Lake on NY Day and walked out on to it eeek! I was scared lol. Seeing Temple Square on NYE was absolutely enchanting. 

Hey Kitty, the kids ditched FUTSAL this week. Luckily, because their Cheer Squad was watching INsight hahaha.
