At the rist of a sudden rainshower, the sun did come out for much of the time today.
& I am more certain I have 'the dreaded lurgy', of one sort or another. I"ve got some RATests hest here, but can't see to perform the test accurately, & then to see the line/s on the strip ... Definitely have a sore throat.... that's all I know.
So, sorry, we need a substitute cook for the BB Café on very short notice, or are we going to be a café that has food orders brought in? Heheh, no deliveries, but you can order a delivery to come here! Imagine, if that was what happens at your own local café?
You order your fully loaded hawaiian burger, & sit to wait for, first the smells & sounds from the kitchen. Then, curiously there are none. But you still expect someone to come around the counter with your order, but no one does. A few mor minutes go by, & still, no food, so you get up, & go to the counter & say to me. "Where's my order? It's been ten minutes, already. How long will it be?"
I tell you, "It should arrive any time".
You shrug, & buy a can of drink. to have while you wait.
As you take your second gulp, someone comes in carrying a cubical vinyl carry bag, that smells suspiciously like pineapple.
I greet the delivery person, with a smile, & take the contents fromthe them, & before the person leaves, I am turning to you, beaming, now, "Order #15, Hawaiian to go!"
& you've paid full price, hence I am beaming.
