The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

i don't think i've ever heard of Andrew Symons until now, but i'm not a sporty person (which is a bad thing), my parents are though. i looked up what happened to him. poor guy, so tragic.
sorry to hear you have bursitis mmMekitty. it's been raining where i am a bit too. your food sounds nice. i don't like Nutella or Peanut Butter though (i'll eat it in the Reeses' cups sometimes for some weird reason but that's hardly ever. maybe because of the chocolate?). i do love jams/marmalades, lemon curd, honey & cinnamon though. i might have to try your coffee with the cinnamon.

Hi Grandy, Tayla, Leisa & everyone popping in for a Sunday Roast Dinner. 😺 Doesn't that sound marvellous? I'd love to poll you all for your choice of roast....
Mine would be a traditional herb stuffing, in a chook with baby roast potatoes & have carrots beans & even baby beetroot, roasted right there with the chook in the pan, with all the juices making a sticky, thick gravy. & I'll also have corn on the cob, boiling in a large pot on the stove.
& if you still manage to have an appetite, we'll have alight apple crumble with custard later, whenever you want. 😺

I don't pay particular attention to sport, either. A sudden loss like this is so difficult to come to terms with for those closest to him.
*
I have been researching, more info, & not many answers!
I have discovered that the Dwarf Lanternshark is the smallest shark known, & might not grow any longer than your hand... which didn't help me play 'Two Word Game'. 😾/😺 It might trim your fingernails for you!

Hi Everyone, I wonder whether anyone can help me.
How can you stop when you are replying to someone on the forums, that when you happen to press the wheel on the mouse that it doesn't paste the original poster's comment, which you need to delete.
I've looked on the net but I'm no IT expert and hope there is a simple way to overcome this.
Thanks.
Geoff.

Hi Geoff,
I was trying to reply here, & then tried to reproduce what you did, & it seems I have 'cancelled' my attempt to reply, when I tapped my mouse wheel while my mouse pointer was on the link, 'Quote a post' just above the text box. Was that what you did?
I am a little confused about wheter you wanted to 'Quote a post' & it didn't appear, & like me, your text box disappeared, & nothing got posted. Or, if you had accidently already had activated 'Quote a post' & wanted to delete that portion of your post before posting your reply?
I've learned to not press the mouse wheel when the mouse ointer is not on a link. On a blank area, just to be sure, I can & then I can scroll very quickly up & down a webpage, clicking again when I want to stop doing that.
Hope that helps. If not, can you explain, step by step, what you were doing & what happened, & what you wanted to happen?
I'll try to replicate what you did & see if I can achieve what you wanted, & let you know the results of my experiment 😸.

Hi all,
Hi Geoff, I am sorry I haven't got an answer for you either. I accidentally delete so many of my posts and rewrite them, I may know them word for word.
I love a good Corned Silverside. One that melts in your mouth when you eat it alongside round roast potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and white sauce....oh yum. I've learned a new word today, but cannot pronounce it...
"hippopotomstrosesquippedaliophobia"
It's a technical name for the fear of long words. Amazing, I am going to try that word out on my partner later. Although I think he has "Puttingyourclothesawayofftheflooraphobia". Yes, I'm sure he has that. I hope everyone is well.

Hi Leisa,
You can google:
hippopotomstrosesquippedaliophobia pronunciation
& with any luck, see a microphone icon & hear it spoken.
But it is a worry that my pc has identified it as a spelling error, with no suggested corrections, & the same goes for: Puttingyourclothesawayofftheflooraphobia.
It's tough being a curious cat & having to decide on the things I really need to know😾
But, oh yes! Corned Silverside - I haven't thought of that for ages. They have some pre-cooked & hot at Woolies, but I was not sure if I could freeze it, because, even if I thought I could, it would be bad to eat it all at once. I think roasting stuff for one is tricky, even if I could buy the smaller portions @150%/kilo more than if I bought a lot. & I don't have the freezer room for a lot!
I hope you are having a good day. I'ts drizzling here so lightly you'd hardly know until you feel your skin get damp, holding your hand out for a couple minutes...😸

Hello Geoff,
I tried pressing the wheel on my mouse while replying here... it didn't cause your post to be pasted... I wonder if mmMeKitty has hit on the reason when she mentioned the "quote a post" link...
If when the original posters comment appears it has the word "quote" at the start & end then this is what has happened... pressing the wheel on the mouse locks the scroll function which could cause the cursor to move with the slightest move of the mouse & you may then accidentally click the link without intending to...
If it doesn't have the word "quote" then I hope someone with more IT knowledge than me can help
Paws
