Hi all,
I made my rather messy version of Grandy's Cheese Twists last night. I decided to spread some basil pesto & a little garlic butter on the pastry before adding cheese.
I thought to move the shelf up, in an effort to not burn the bottom before the tops had cooked ... after I had pre-heated the oven, so, to avoid burning myself, I impatiently waited for the thing to cool before moving the shelf up a notch. 😸 Got there eventually!
Oh, but without baking paper, they stuck a bit! ... Trial & a little error, but very yummy!Thanks again, Grandy.

It's sunny here, too. So good to see after so much cloud & rain. I put my porr plants on the window sill outside my bathroom window. Hope they like that.... Thing is, if it gets too hot in the sun or as windter arrives, it get too cold, I'll have to move them again. It may be alright, now, since some large bushes, especially the lillipilli, have grown large & shade my window more in winter. It could be quite okay for them this year.

I've got a science fiction audiobook on YouTube, "Footfall", split into twoportions of almost 7hrs each. It may end up with too much millitary stuff for my liking, but who knows - the aliens might win! & as yet, there is not one clear 'hero' figure either. 😺I hope it is thoroughly unpredictable, but these books do tend to have a fairly predictable course.
After that , I hope a book of short science fiction stories will be stories I have not heard.
