The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

Did anyone see Spencer now about Lady Diana, my friend says it's enjoyable....
I'm loving reightous gemstones at the moment, it has john Goodman in it, and is hilarious.
I'm feeling like I've watched all the things....
I watched inventing anna recently about a scam artist in NYC...it was fascinating.

That happened, too, Matchy.
So, your dad got up on the roof & had to position the antenna in the right direction, & (call down, "Is that better?" several times. Hope you didn't live between hills, because then getting a decent picture was much harder.
It was worth it for a whole 4 channels!

Oh, that was fortunate!😺
I find it amazing what's on YouTube.
Even audio like some old Twilight Zone - I do like that show! 😺 Now I am looking more for audio or made for radio programmes. I would like to find some radio plays, such as those our ABC used to broadcast regularly in the 1980s. I miss having that regular sort of programming, never knowing what I'd hear, from classic sort of dramatic plays to rather surreal/experimental stuff.
Tonight is a veggie night....lots of good ol' healthy veggies, if I can keep the cheese away from them! 😸

i watch stuff on Youtube too, also a website called Dailymotion which is the same as Youtube - you don't need an account. still has ads sometimes though but some you can skip. it's a good place for finding some rare things sometimes. also Ok.ru , that's a free website that you can make an account on or if you have Facebook, Twitter, etc. you can sign in using that, & there's no ads. that's better for finding rare stuff too in my opinion.
i also have box sets of some of my favourite shows but i watch them on TV if they're on or online, sometimes on my portable DVD player (i do have an actual DVD player but it's unplugged since i now have Foxtel in my bedroom, not trying to brag, so it had to be unplugged).

Well it's funny sleep , l'm a weirdo .
On one hand l love action faster the better in movies, suspense, but l can also watch some mega tame daggy stuff like Doc martin , Doc Who, Death in Paradise. Love Uk and European doccos and all kinds of movies , supernatural stuff,. But if l'm picking a movie l'll look for action every time.

I love that !
Action movies are not something I can usually watch, but I could enjoy if there was humour in it,...
What movies are your favourites...?
I know Dr who....
I like dark and noir movies...and rom coms...
Some new movies I'm looking forward to are
The Weekend Away
windfall
Licorice Pizza
The French dispatch ...
I find it helpful at night to zone out and watch something before bed, as I get pretty anxious at night
