Hey! Welcome to Friends Cafe.

This is a chill and chat space for young BB members to talk about anything and everything and make new friends.

When school's getting to you, uni or work has got you down, parents, partners, friends don't understand, and especially if you're feeling alone or lonely - come and relax awhile and talk to others who know just how you feel.

Our minds can cause us trouble, but they can also be amazing things that imagine beauty, love and fun. This cafe has everything you can imagine. To start with it's, well, a cafe. So there's chairs and tables, comfy couches for flopping, a big screen tele, unlimited download on computers for games, Spotify (or an old-school jukebox if you prefer), every movie you can think of on instant demand ... whatever you want, it's here. Post and tell us what'd you'd like.

Plus, there's an infinite menu of whatever food or drinks takes your fancy. And it's all free!

To kick it off, today we have a special range of Monster Milkshakes - those thick gooey shakes topped with cronuts, chocolate bars, cake, cookies ... whatever you want. And if you can get through one of them, you're a legend (and probably feeling a little bit sick LOL!)

Glad to see you back in the cafe again 🙂 How have you been? It's so good that you finished your exams!! Must be such a relief haha 😛 How did you go? My holidays just started a few days ago too, I'm not going anywhere in particular but will be staying in Campbelltown here with my aunt during these 2 weeks, I have to study as my half yearlies for year 11 start next term!! I will have 8 exams coming straight up in the first two weeks, but I will try to keep a balance between study and having fun, because that's definitely important too! What are your plans for the holidays Smith? Take care, thinking of you!! 🙂

Here's a big hug to you for joining xx So as you've probably already discovered we have many many things here, anything you'd like actually!! We got music, monster shakes, bean bags and books, maybe we'll get a screen soon to play movies hmm (Kaz what do you think haha). Anyways just make yourself home!! What sort of things do you usually enjoy doing? I like reading, playing music and playing guitar and piano, used to play some sport too 😛

Hiya Katy, welcome! Oh! What's this? A bouncy little golden brown fluff ball with eyes and a tail! How did you get in here little fella? Must have followed me. 😊 You're looking for a home? I think you found one. So, he looks to me like a cross between a poodle and labrador, that would make him a labradoodle? Awwwww, he's just a puppy needing people to love.

He seems very well behaved, trained and smart. I'll settle him on a beanbag and he'll be here to jump all over you when you folks come back. You can choose his name ...

Okay thats it. I'm exercising my right of honorary patronage to the Friends Cafe. I want to meet this new puppy! You guys are so lucky. He's beautiful. Please make sure you take good care of him. Make sure he has a safe and secure home, gets plenty of love and attention, has mental and physical stimulation. I think Graceee misses her dog Lucky back home in China, so she may take charge of this new little guy's care and wellbeing. Unless there are other takers? Regardless he is a lively little fellow, as puppies tend to be of course.

I'm sure you will have boundless fun with each other. Okay, I've met him now, leave you to settle in together.

I haven't read any of Cassandra's books actually. We can definitely have a range of her novels in the café 🙂 Our new puppy sounds cute. I'd like to add a kitten or cat (I love both). I never used to like cats as a child, but started to in my teens.

I did have a good weekend, thanks. The brunch was really nice 😄 My friend is doing really well, and I'm already looking forward to the next catch up in however many months until she returns! On Saturday night I had dinner with friends, and then we went to another venue afterwards. I don't drink alcohol and don't go to bars that often, but it had a nice vibe 🙂 By the time we said goodbye to everyone and got home in a taxi, it was about 2.30. The next day I went to lunch with my boyfriend and his family for his Grandpa's 97th birthday.

Don't worry at all if you don't get onto the forum as often as you'd like. If people don't have at least a few days between posts, then it would be harder to talk about new things that have been happening during our days! 😛 Like you, I've had a small break from doing uni stuff, but will start working soon in my 'holiday' haha. I don't have exams yet, but I have big assignments to research and write, as well as reading to do.

I hope you are enjoying your time with your Aunty and cousin. My boyfriend is doing well. I didn't end up seeing him today. I spent most of the weekend with him, and decided to be extra lazy today! Plus, my parents got home from interstate late yesterday afternoon. He actually got a professional massage today, which he rarely has. He apparently had a lot of tension in his back, most likely from sport.

Just wanted to say a big welcome to the cafe! I am so glad you've joined us!

An animal is a wonderful idea, I don't have any pets of my own, so having one here is really the best! And the puppy is so so cute! Since it was your idea, do you have any suggestions for names?

It's pretty cool that you are interested in Korean culture because I am actually half Korean (and half Chinese!!) With kpop, are there any particular singers or bands you like? I went to Korea in the summer holidays and went to watch Music Bank with a friend. I saw heaps of bands and it was pretty cool to see them perform live and so close up! I stayed for a month in Korea which was awesome and it snowed a bit because it was winter. My favourite part was the food and shopping though, I miss that! Was also wondering have you watched any Korean dramas? Also I see you like Cassandra Clare's books! I read the Mortal Instruments series a little while ago and quite liked it! I haven't read the Infernal Devices series though, I think they come before
