Hey! Welcome to Friends Cafe.
This is a chill and chat space for young BB members to talk about anything and everything and make new friends.
When school's getting to you, uni or work has got you down, parents, partners, friends don't understand, and especially if you're feeling alone or lonely - come and relax awhile and talk to others who know just how you feel.
Our minds can cause us trouble, but they can also be amazing things that imagine beauty, love and fun. This cafe has everything you can imagine. To start with it's, well, a cafe. So there's chairs and tables, comfy couches for flopping, a big screen tele, unlimited download on computers for games, Spotify (or an old-school jukebox if you prefer), every movie you can think of on instant demand ... whatever you want, it's here. Post and tell us what'd you'd like.
Plus, there's an infinite menu of whatever food or drinks takes your fancy. And it's all free!
To kick it off, today we have a special range of Monster Milkshakes - those thick gooey shakes topped with cronuts, chocolate bars, cake, cookies ... whatever you want. And if you can get through one of them, you're a legend (and probably feeling a little bit sick LOL!)
Welcome friends.

Hey Tay, sorry for taking so long to reply. I was just scrolling through my threads and thought i'd comment back, sorry.
I'm not sure what it's like, year 11, 12, uni, etc. I left in year 10 because of bullying and becoming physically ill, so 2015. I didn't finish, I tried my hardest but was never good enough. It's so triggering for me. I miss some classes and teachers but thats all really.
I'm such a failure.
Take care everyone.

Hi mb20lover
Thanks for getting back to me!
You are not a failure- Leaving school in year 10 is perfectly ok, and a valid choice if you felt it's something you needed to do, especially to preserve your health or remove yourself from bullying- it might have been hard, but it's also a smart and brave thing to do. I'm proud of you!

i've been going through video games i haven't beat yet like i want to 100% this or finish that. or wanting to finish projects that i felt like i never had the time for. or picking up books through libby! and then i notice the wikipedia articles for that book after i finish is horribly neglected and i sigh as i have to edit it and fix the poor wording or the fact that the plot section has totally omitted the ending.
im always the kid who argues when the teacher says to never cite wikipedia because back when i liked warrior cats i used to edit a little for the warrior cats wiki and holy shit for being about talking cat soap opera kidlit it is meticulous. even if you have zero interest in it you should look at some articles which the editors actually agreed were way too long so characters usually have like, several pages for a basic summary, detailed book-by-book history of this cat, their personality and relationships, quotes, etc. it is so big and i'm permanently spoiled from looking at that wiki when i was 11 because whenever i see wikipedia articles or a wiki for my niche interest and see its usually messy or not well monitored or unfinished its like i have to take it upon myself. the latent wikipedia editor comes out of me but only when my adhd is hyperfixing again or when i have too much time

I love music too! If i'm being honest, i'm not that great tho, but it's fun! I play ukulele and i sing. I also love listening to music, i got a record player for my birthday a few months ago, so that's awesome!
Who's your fave musician?

Hi there,
I’m technically not a new member, was here 4 years ago and here I am back to scroll around this comforting place that is beyondblue.
I joined as a high schooler and now I’m halfway through uni course.
How are you guys coping in highschool? This is such a strange time to go through.
take care of yourselves, and remember that your well being matter most.
Sincerely,
Febry
xx
