Hey! Welcome to Friends Cafe.

This is a chill and chat space for young BB members to talk about anything and everything and make new friends.

When school's getting to you, uni or work has got you down, parents, partners, friends don't understand, and especially if you're feeling alone or lonely - come and relax awhile and talk to others who know just how you feel.

Our minds can cause us trouble, but they can also be amazing things that imagine beauty, love and fun. This cafe has everything you can imagine. To start with it's, well, a cafe. So there's chairs and tables, comfy couches for flopping, a big screen tele, unlimited download on computers for games, Spotify (or an old-school jukebox if you prefer), every movie you can think of on instant demand ... whatever you want, it's here. Post and tell us what'd you'd like.

Plus, there's an infinite menu of whatever food or drinks takes your fancy. And it's all free!

To kick it off, today we have a special range of Monster Milkshakes - those thick gooey shakes topped with cronuts, chocolate bars, cake, cookies ... whatever you want. And if you can get through one of them, you're a legend (and probably feeling a little bit sick LOL!)

I'm in year 9 🙄 I swear it's the worst one yet. All of a sudden, the boys get stupider, the girls get bitchier and the teachers expect way more. I'm a hard worker, but my anxiety has blown up from the rapidly increasing workload.

I laughed when you said that about year 9. You're so right haha. But rest assured because people do grow up and they won't be like it forever.

So long as you keep managing your anxiety through whatever you need to do then you'll be sweet.

hamsolo (btw love your username lol) yeah everyone assumes I'm older, like not even in school anymore, but then I surprise them like and they're like omg you're 14?! I'm like yes, I just write very maturely and am observant... I guess when you have MH issues you grow up quicker, are exposed to more sooner...

yeah I can't wait for everyone to grow up 🙄 School back tomorrow ☹️

Chloe_M you are dead right about MH making us more mature.

I also grew up pretty fast in year 9 because my young sister was very ill.

I have begun to see that getting older is inevitable but growing up is optional.

I think this is a good thing to realise as soon as you can, because then the adjustment is easier. If I had a dollar for every person I see older than me who is a total mess yet seems to blame it others I'd be rich enough to pay off my HECS debt already haha. Sometimes I think that MH is a blessing in disguise.
