Hey! Welcome to Friends Cafe.
This is a chill and chat space for young BB members to talk about anything and everything and make new friends.
When school's getting to you, uni or work has got you down, parents, partners, friends don't understand, and especially if you're feeling alone or lonely - come and relax awhile and talk to others who know just how you feel.
Our minds can cause us trouble, but they can also be amazing things that imagine beauty, love and fun. This cafe has everything you can imagine. To start with it's, well, a cafe. So there's chairs and tables, comfy couches for flopping, a big screen tele, unlimited download on computers for games, Spotify (or an old-school jukebox if you prefer), every movie you can think of on instant demand ... whatever you want, it's here. Post and tell us what'd you'd like.
Plus, there's an infinite menu of whatever food or drinks takes your fancy. And it's all free!
To kick it off, today we have a special range of Monster Milkshakes - those thick gooey shakes topped with cronuts, chocolate bars, cake, cookies ... whatever you want. And if you can get through one of them, you're a legend (and probably feeling a little bit sick LOL!)

Hi everyone.
How was your weekend. I competed in my second tri for the season yesterday. Bit buggered today to be honest, but have to drive to gold coast soon for work which is a pain. I am a bit sore today. I will need to train more for next year as I am doing an olympic length tri next year.
What is everyones plan for this week? I have to do some edit some work documents before finishing up in two weeks and apply for jobs

Congrats! I really wanted to do a tri at teh beginning of this year but I chickened out. I'm just not a strong ocean swimmer (or swimmer generally).
What distances were the legs for this one?

Hi James
my legs for this tri were: 750m swim, 20km ride and 5km run
my next tri it will be 900m swim, 25km ride and 6km run
and the olympic is 1500m swim, 40km ride and 10km run
I was super nervous even though I had done that distance before. I am always nervous beforehand. It is easier once you get started. I need to make sure I am better hydrated next time and put a thicker layer of sunscreen on

james, i did get it ues but im still getting the hanf of it lol.. its hard to adjust to the xbox when i been on pc for 10 years haha. Its a decent game though. The campaign is really good too.
i have a house to myself this week as family are away so its good to ultimate freedom which is nice.

Do you have the xbox one/one s/one x? I've got the xbox one s, but I have some really nice speakers set up 5.1, so I'm tempted to buy a new TV soon with 4k & HDR...
Yeah the campaign really excited me. Trailer looks great.
Oh sweet. I imagine there'll be lots of time on the couch in front of bf2 then, lol

haha pretty much every TV nowadays is HD 😛 at any rate, with the prices TVs go for now, it makes no sense to buy a non-HD TV!
Yeah, I've read some of the things on the thread there. I can assure you that it all comes from a place of care and not judgement. They will probably respond to you in time. The best thing to do is have a look when you feel like you can.
Sometimes, I don't read posts directed to me because I just don't feel mentally up to it.

indeed james haha, i dont even think non-hd tvs are on sale anywhere are they? except maybe the local antiques store..
all good, i expect it takes time to read through all of the posts lol
and yes i am the same as you in that regard, at times i can't do it.
I have just played 3 games of fifa, lost one, won one and drew one. I currently have 2 times the amount of losses i do than wins lol. I'm improving slowly.
I am currently listening to jazz streaming through Youtube while looking up how to make a database for information on stuff i can do next year. I need something a bit more set out than a simple excel spreadsheet because those things can go on for ages.

Hi Pysis. Sorry where is your thread? I'll pop on in if I see it.
James the hardest part is probably the second half of the ride because that is when your shoulders and bum start to hurt. The run I can physically do and probably my best part but mentally you need to just keep running. I feel like I need to do more running practice though because my run on the tri is similar to not on the tri.
I have been a bit sick today. Physically. Felt nauseous and sore all day. Struggled at work. Had to swap jobs with someone and go home a little early cause I felt sick. And I never get sick (I get colds but they don't count). So hopefully it is gone tomorrow. I would like to eat a real lunch
