Fortunately/unfortunately

Hey everyone, I like playing games, so I thought that I would start one that I sometimes play with the pre-schoolers at work. It's called "fortunately/ unfortunately". The aim of the game is tell and create a story, kind of like a serial, but the beginning of each sentence or paragraph has to be with words fortunately or unfortunately. The trick is that they have to alternate. It can be a creative, silly or just plain crazy. But the aim is to keep the story going. I'm going to start with.....

It was a bright sunny morning, so today I went to the beach. Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea as I did, but.....

Next person is to continue the story starting with fortunately.

Unfortunately Tarzan and Jane moved to another treehouse, so she started walking through the jungle trying to find her way out

Fortunately she ran into Dr Livingston and Stanley who helped her on her way out of the jungle and back to the land of the living. Plonk back at Bondi Beach 🙂

Unfortunately she still didn’t have any sunscreen & ended up very very sunburnt.

Fortunately the female life saver came to the rescue with sunscreen from their supply.

Unfortunately she is sensitive to sunscreen so she quickly ran off caught a bus and headed home so she could have a cool shower and relax with her favourite movie.

Fortunately the movie finished quickly, so she was out and about again, remembering the sunscreen this time.

Unfortunately torrential rain with gusty winds came out of nowhere, no she was soaked to the skin and shivering uncontrollably.

Fortunately she had taken her wet weather jacket with her because the forecast was for rain. So she put that on, found shelter and started to warm up.

Fortunately, I remembered where I hid the money, but oopsie, I left it in the pocket of the skirt in a box of things I just donated to the church for their fete, quickly I run down to the fete and start looking through the boxes of donated clothes

Unfortunately as I was running to the fete I oopsy banged into a lovely little old lady that had the skirt on and ...
