Fortunately/unfortunately

Hey everyone, I like playing games, so I thought that I would start one that I sometimes play with the pre-schoolers at work. It's called "fortunately/ unfortunately". The aim of the game is tell and create a story, kind of like a serial, but the beginning of each sentence or paragraph has to be with words fortunately or unfortunately. The trick is that they have to alternate. It can be a creative, silly or just plain crazy. But the aim is to keep the story going. I'm going to start with.....

It was a bright sunny morning, so today I went to the beach. Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea as I did, but.....

Next person is to continue the story starting with fortunately.

Fortunately she had the zany idea to wear a whole mixture of whacky clothes & the kids at the party loved her!!

Unfortunately the kids love the whacky clothes so much they wanted them.

Fortunately she worked at a charity shop so she took all the kids down to it and got them all fancy dress costume, they were so cute.

Unfortunately there were no fancy dress parties that night to go to

Fortunately it was a beautiful evening so she sat outside with her wine & favourite nibblies to watch the magnificent sunset.

Unfortunately the pesky mosquitoes were even more ravenously hungry than I was. I got sick of swatting them and gave up and went back inside.

Unfortunately, she was distracted from watching the sunsets by a large gorilla, that snatched her up and after 4 days travelling they ended up in the gorilla's cave in the middle of a jungle.

Fortunately Tarzan was there to save her.

Unfortunately Tarzan thought she would make a good maid for Jane.

Fortunately Jane and Tarzan needed little assistance. They did all the work themselves. So she was able to continue a carefree and safe life being protected by these two.
