😹Their skittering on the ice is so fantastic. How they get themselves into formation! Surely you are not unhappy with that?

Dear 😹~

OK I give up - what are they ? They look like worms standing on their tails after an extravagant lunch.

If they are worms I'll have to call in a flock of early birds.

Incidentally I didn't send the penguins to your thread, that was entirely their idea - I guess you must have an attractive personality:)

Hey, Croix, it just occurs to me - are you using a very small screen & really don't see 🦩is a Flamingo?

I don't know if they are early birds, only about how they become coloured living in the caustic soda lakes, in flocks which be have thousands of birds large. To feed, they scoop up something (that I don't recall( from the caustic soda water.

So. I imagine, you must have had a lot of drains to unclog - & the run-off has attracted the 🦩🦩🦩 in such great numbers to your berg.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️to you & Mrs C

Hi dear Croixy man 🐧 Kitty 🐺 and everyone ☺

Uh oh a stray penguin surfaced but that's ok eh Croixy because I'm sure I saw a tear drop 🚿 (shower head gushing water) or should I say 💧(drop of water). I use water drops in my art which resemble tears because I love the shape and purity of the look, also I've heard an artist reveals some of their life/personality in their art. For me that'd be tears so I guess a swimming pool would be more relevant. Not all the time fortunately.

Anyhoo btt (back to topic) re the tear drop that looked quite funny you having a frozen one hanging off your tusk gee likin your new look Mr it might take off you trend setter you 😄 so I feel it's a service I did for you reviving the lonesome penguin.

Thanks matey no probs you missed my post 😊 I know it wasn't intentional you're always a very good decent man and a great communicator. I didn't know Walruses were such class acts.

So just popped in to let you and Kitty know I'm getting a lit of lol's 😅 & ☺ reading your Penguin banter. Kitty loved the Penguin formation 😂 but where's this Albatross?

Hope your days are good lovely ones that goes for everyone. Even it our hardest times there's still something good just waiting for us to find 🌞

Croixy thoughts and hope your healths holding at a reasonable level good man 🍫 oh ...bit embarrassing 😶 soz I just have to take that choccy bar back it fell out of my mouth 😲

Go easy all 👋

Albatross? What albatross? I haven't seen any albatross? Maybe I need to carry my ☂more often?

We cannot have just one🐧. That will not do, not for the lone🐧, most certainly, so I will see if any of my herd would like to return? 😸Or else we may see some 🐧/🦩hybrids. My mind is stretching to imagine that.😸But, hey, whichever way they fly is no matter to me.😺

Because I did not think to use actual 💧💧in my painting, I tried to paint some in a few. Not easy, but I thought one of my attempts at rain on a window seemed pretty good to me.😸& one of my favourite photos I took was when I was on a bus, & it had been raining, & the window was fogged. I held my SLR camera against the glass, to keep it steady in relations tot the moving bus, & using the macro lens, focused on a few raindrops. It looked so good, with the road & trees blurred against the lightly grey sky, & these raindrops, in focus, with the same scene, clearly in focus, upside down. At least I think the tiny images in the raindrops were clear - my eyesight not being very good, you know...

It is just as well the tears are not all the time - we need to come up for air, eh?

You ever try anything artsy, Croix? Even if while thinking you don't know what you're doing, or how to do it, you can fave a go, & maybe a laugh at your atempts, & maybe also discover it helps when words don't or are not enough. It can be another route for thoughts & feelings, when the words become stuck. 😸

☮️❤️to everyone (I'd like to merge the two emojis, so it would be 'peace in the heart'. That's what I mean.)

hi all. i've been on the forums here & there, just browsing threads but not responding. to respond to your comment, Croix, about Y(P)M, i love Derek. he's my favourite. that line you quoted is a classic. haven't been feeling well with gastro, since Friday (so 27th April) when i got my booster shot, sigh. maybe it's that or a bug going around, i don't know. either way it sucks.

Dear DB~

Are you sure that 🍫 didn't fall into your mouth? I guess embarrassment does not come into it against the taste of chocolate 🙂

As for the teardrop, I certainly hope yours become far fewer as time goes on. I think Amy Whitehouse had one under her eye when her her husband had a suspected overdose while inside. Interesting subject.

I'm not sure about the albatross either. I do remember many years ago when we went backpacking around South Island we visited the Albatross reserve near Dunedin. They were huge! Then we say California Quail running along the tracks, they were tiny.

I like the way you say even in hard times there's something good to find, I'll have to try harder to remember that 🙂
