During one of my favourite TV quiz shows, Letters and Numbers on SBS, I one of the host's assistants inform us that the word 'Walrus' is from Dutch & literally means 'whale horse'. 😸 We will have to use two emojis then: 🐋+🐎. Do you think he'll be on board with that?

Dear All~
Well I came back full of trepidation and found it was well justified. My lovely iceberg has a hole in the middle, cracks stitched up with fishing line, day-glo marshmallows everywhere and a sniggering noise from all directions.
You lot simply can't be trusted!
Still I'm glad to be back.
MK why do you have pot rather than a pud in your avatar?

Well, 🐋🐎, let me tell you.
I was trying to encourage Robthamaslover/Tayla, to have a go at photography, maybe a with a little artistic eye. Last year I staged my onw little photo-art, 'Jug Sans Lid', I thought to share. I explained I used my so&so phone & did only a small amount of editing & used my old Paint programme on my PC to put it on a dark grey background. Since I liked the result, I named my photo, too. 😺
I remember now, it all started when I wanted my helper to find another jug, like the red jug pictured. After sending her a picture, I had the idea to use my blue hand towel & the yellow vynil mailing pouch, (for braille magazines), & make a nicer image. Just for fun.

How was your break?
I'm sorry we got the pixies in a tad early - now there's another mess....my stain-ice skyliight wasnt ready in time, due to it being a jig-saw of a thing to piece together....or you wouldn't have noticed the hole...just watch your step, there, underneath, thie ice may be a bit thin, yet...
Care for a marshmallow? They have kept well, considering...😸See? Still springy!

Oh Croix
I knew you'd get a shock when you came back to your iceberg. I've been observing all the behaviour going on...and I, just one little old lady could do nothing to stop them...I am sorry and hope you and The Carpenter can get things tidied up...I am sure you will. As you were away, he and I used to take long walks along the beach at dusk and debate the situation.
"The time has come" he said "to speak of many things"......so we discussed the shoes and ships and sealing wax the marauders had left behind after their partying. I think even those cheeky oysters came out to join in the fun and laughter at the mess. Don't worry Croix.....The Carpenter has promised when you get back on your flippers again, he will help you catch the oysters so you can both feast on them for dinner at sunset! How does that sound? An Oyster Feast! { no one else is invited)...just you, me and The Carpenter.

Dear Grandy~
Thanks for the hug (even if you did misbehave!), and no use blaming it on DB, I can see you had a hand in the mayhem:)
I've not caught up with my reading of all the threads so I'll simply ask straight away -how is your son doing?

Dear robthomaslover~
Would it be too forward to call you Tayla in future?
Thanks for the welcome back. To answer your question I'm not sure which is my favorite British comedy, AYBS is of course great fun (sadly I'm morphing from Cptain Peacock to Young Mr Grace as the years go by:(
"You've all done very well!"
Maybe it is Yes (Prime) Minister first, Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy second, plus lots of thirds, from the 2 Ronnies and Open All hours to Monty Python and the Holy Grail
One thing I've not seen is the new version of Yes Minister, and wanted your opinion. If it is OK I'll look for a s/hand copy somewhere (I basically only buy s/hand or would be broke:(
Nice to see my so called freinds have been keeping you entertained

Dear Moon~
You were right, seeing my beloved iceberg in such a state was (an expected) shock.
It's funny, I never thought of you and the Carpenter making free with my beach, particularly with such wide-ranging conversation, it looks like you are following in the footsteps of that quote:
“Conversation should touch everything, but should concentrate itself on nothing.”
One can forgive an awful lot for a feast of oysters, the clams will be relieved at any event, after all they are normally a staple in my diet.
Hope your new (old) job is going well
Croix
