I have used singing to the emotional songs, such as you do, but not so much rock & never got into metal. All the screaming just made me agitated & fearful, really, while I kind of wished I could make so much noise. I couldn't do it.

I found emotional ballad type of songs, most especialy from Joni Mitchell, who wrote her heart &soul into her music.

As far as being loudly angry goes, the best I did was with some Tori Amos & Toni Childs. Toni Childs is more raw, while Tori is less direct. I loved the challeng. It really felt good to get some emotion out within the safety of a song. Janis Ian had some very sad songs too.

I also prefer female singers...😺

I can't sing like I once did, so it seems impossible to use the songs as before. Had to find other ways to express myself.

Puzzles? I never had patience for even small puzzles.

& now, I haven't got patience for 3D puzzles toys I can feel to do either.

Not even a tactile Rubik Cube

yeah i understand. i don't listen to metal as much as i used to. i just like it because it helps when i feel angry. it's common for lots of people who like that music.

i know Joni Mitchell but not her songs. Tori Amos has a good voice and lyrics, i've heard some of her songs. i had an old "friend" in America that met her heaps & was a huge fan. but we fell out because of her being rude to me. but anyway.

don't know Toni Childs songs but i know her also.

female and male singers are good to me. i'm off to watch some TV, i'll check back soon. 2 of my favourite shows on - Yes Minister, then Are You Being Served?. loved AYBS my whole life, i've seen it so many times. i have box sets of both. this is my 2nd time watching Yes Minister, & soon to be Yes Prime Minister when series 3 finishes, so i assume Fox Classics will play that.

& I will get back to these Rika books, on YouTube. 😺(even though some ads are sneaking in)

sorry i'm back now. usually i keep my interests to myself because people judge it and don't know about it.

This is a place where members are encouraged to be non-judgemental & more accepting of all our differences. Anyone you think is saying anything rude & insulting to you about any of your opinions, then you can report the post. The button is on the far right, past where the date & 'replied to ...' is. Don't hesitate to use it.

It doesn't mean I will ever like loudly amplified music. It does put me on notice to be polite & respectful, & not call you names or say rude things about the fact you like rock music.

😸 But after a while, I was actually enjoying Tori Amos's more noisy songs, even one particular one, the ones with swear words & all! 😺I surprised myself - saying things I would not normally say! & when I felt really, really angry, that's the song I'd put on my player...

Hi Grandy 👩‍❤️‍👩 Kitty 🐺 Tayla and readers ☺

Oh no I forgot about the cleaning pixies and I'm so stiff and sore from ice skating ...I mean strenuous cleaning.

Haha that mats in a good spot there yes was a bit tricky knowing what to do with that hole.

Oh yum for Croixy he'll be so happy to have some Sardine ice cream geez you think of everything don't you. Quite impressive dear Grandy Floss

Kitty you've done a sterling job too. Must say it was a lot 9f fun to let the hair down and go ape on the emojis...wait up...do anyway...

Tayla nice seeing you. Enjoying the reading. Take care and everyone ⚘

Hi Tayla, the 'Jug Sans Lid' is a photo I took last year, here in my flat, using my so&so phone. I set it up on my little table, using a blue hand towel, a yellow vinyl mailer (with a braille magazine inside) propped up on the brick hal-hall to cover the bricks. (Otherwise I'd've had to clear off the shelf atop the the half-wall & drape a folded sheet or towel for that half of my pic.) bowl in front, all lights on, & I also used the flash. I'm not sure now, but I think I was sitting in my office chair, back a little so I cast no shadow, & zoomed in some too.

Afterwards, I did make some adjustments, cropping & enhancing contrast, shadow, highlight, definition but just a touch or two - not much or it is too noticable.

Thn I snt it to myself so it would be on my PC. Save it to my files & do a little more edits, such as the gey around, using the Paint programme. 😸 & that's about it. Anout all I can do nowadays.

Funny if it was Dali, you'd be struggling to see the difference! That's how well he could fool the eye.

I know what to do with the hole! I'll slice some pieces & colour them & make something like a stain glass window to fit the hole, like a skylight - a stained-ice-skylight! Croix will like that, especially when the sun shines through making pretty prismatic 🌈🌈all around the place!😺

& add some oozy🦪oyster sauce & crunchy🦀crustacean croutons to the🐟sardine ice cream...Oh, I'd like that myself!! Just fill up my big🥣red bowl &I'm a very😹happy cat.

"Grandy floss" - I dunno about that, DB! I know what you mean, but it could be misinterpreted...

oh dear, I've got to get myself back under control!

mmMekitty

Confused...? Misinterpreted ? Kitty ☺

DB, I think it is my naughty brain. I give it a good talking to, because Grandy is far too good for what my brain had conjured up. It's alright; I'm thinking nice thoughts now. 😸
