Hi All,
just a thread of films/movies starting from A through to Z.
i will start and being the person I am i will start with
Jaws- a film that left me scared of going in for a swim for a year or two,

Twelve O'clock High (1949)
Gregory Peck and Dean Jagger in a two-academy award movie of the introduction of B-17s to the UK during WWII. It was a groundbreaking portrayal of the stress and damage to mental health of a command position. It is loosely based on the service of a U.S.Colonel Frank A. Armstrong and has been used as a training film.
Eagle Ray - many of the scenes became clichés repeated in the later Memphis Belle movie.

I know this is out of sequence but talk of Terry Jones reminded me of the excellent :
Labyrinth (1986)
A musical fantasy film directed by Jim Henson with George Lucas . The film was written by Terry Jones, and many of its characters are played by muppets produced by Jim Henson. The film stars Jennifer Connelly as Sarah and David Bowie as Jareth
I probably should have written of a movie starting with U, so how about "Umbrellas of Cherbourg, the" (1964)
