Do we have a thread for this? Apologies if we do.
I thought it would be nice to have a place where we can share our the successes of the day. They can be little steps forward or an enormous stride; we'll celebrate them all! Even if you think today has been terrible, something good has happened, no matter how small. They can be anxiety-related, school- or work-related, anything you like! Post as little or as much as you'd like. Let's support each other 🙂
I'll start:
Yesterday, I was panicking about an exam, in tears because I couldn't sleep and I thought all of my hard studying would go to waste as a result of my own brain's inability to calm down. Today, I kept a level head when writing the paper, and I think I did relatively well!
I also overcame my intense fear of backwards skills in gymnastics, by doing my first ever back hip circle on the bars. Very exciting for me - it has been two years in the making. Now to perfect it, with more confidence and without a spot...
What did you achieve today?

Good idea Azarrah
Today, I met my ex-wife's new man. I shook his hand, was cordial with him, and congratulated her for finding happiness in her life again.
I wish I was something to someone again. I do so miss belonging to someone.

Well done, Subdued Blues. It can be very difficult to take the high road and be happy for somebody who broke your heart. Hang in there...your day will come around 🙂
Today I finished all of my uni finals. It was more stressful than Trials last year, and I had left rather too much to the last minute, but I did my best, I refused to slack off, and I worked really hard for this. I'm absolutely exhausted. Aiming for HDs in three of my four subjects, though we'll see how that goes :P. Either way, I'm really satisfied with how I did.

Well done at putting in all that effort for uni Azarrah!! You must have a great feeling of accomplishment to have finished!
Today I worked with my daughter and did a bunch of house work and prepped healthy lunches for the 2 of us for the week. That should make healthier food choices a lot easier!

Well done everyone!
Today I answered the house phone! Quite a big victory for me! First time in many months. Even better it was someone I needed to talk to (not a salesperson, survey or charity!)
It's good to celebrate the little victories!

Nicely done! I hate talking on the phone haha
Hm...a more general "success" for me today. My health anxiety stayed nice and quiet today. Strangely, this was because my asthma started to play up, which has just forced me to manage it and forget about all these imaginary problems I think I have.
How are people doing with the darker, shorter days? Keep your head up, and celebrate the little things 🙂

This is awesome. In a way, it helps knowing that with all these "small" things that you're scared of doing, you're not alone. Although it sounds selfish, it does help with that "you're alone" feeling.
Last Saturday (Australian time - AEST), I got my Ls. Was a great load off my shoulders.
Today, I found this forum because I thought I had my first panic attack. It's nice to be able to express your problems anonymously without worrying because of social anxiety.

Congrats on your Ls, VeeTee! I remember I failed the exam the first time and I was utterly mortified. Passed the Ps first time though 😄
I found this forum after a panic attack, too. The anonymity of it is very freeing. Any time you need to spill out your thoughts, this forum is the perfect place to do it 🙂
Hmm...today it's hard to think of something successful, so I will say something about last night. I was feeling very tired, but I went out to dinner with Dad for the first time in several months. I was expecting to force positivity because I didn't think I was in the mood, but it was actually really lovely and I genuinely enjoyed it a lot. So my suggestion to all of you is to spend a little quality time with your parents, if you haven't recently! Even just having a conversation on the couch.
