Tired

Truetomyself
Community Member
At the moment I feel really tired and exhausted from my anxiety that is now impacting my depression.
I am also tired of having to hide it. Especially with work.
I can't afford to loose my job but I can't say what's really going on.
I am scared and unsure of what to do. I have lost jobs because of my mental health being so up and down.
I have no one to talk about it to.

It must be scary to the have these and then wake up like that. I could say to talk with your GP about it. At the time, you could get up (?) and try to relax. Do you have any apps that might help here?

And coming of medication is very hard... there is one my father was on that he went off too quickly. So they decided to alter the speed. ie rather than drop by say 1/2 to drop by only 1/4.

This might sound like a cliche - you are getting through each day and that is enough. It may not seem like it but it shows your strength and determination.

What are some strategies for getting through agoraphobia?

for agoraphobia, most places will recommend medication and therapy. the following link (see below) also refers to education and relaxation...

https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/agoraphobia#treated

also the Vic government has some useful information as well...

https://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/health/conditionsandtreatments/agoraphobia

hope that helps.

How was your day?

I am exhausted and can't get out of bed. A headache in drop in medication.

Coming of meds and not feeling so good.

Are you able to talk to a GP about how hard this is?

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well truetomyself.

I do agree with smallwolf that if there is a medication issue a GP may be able to assist?

Not feeling good. Father has a short temper and anxiety high.
