Dear New Member of our Community~
I would like to welcome you here and hope we can put your mind at ease. There are several things that spring to mind straight away. Incidentally I hope your user name comes through soon.
The first is the the majority of Anime females are designed by skilled artist backed up by computer techniques to make them look attractive, so it not in the least surprising you and very many other young people react as intended. It is not being a 'pedo' - it is normal. A typical example would be 'Major' in the Anime "Ghost in the Shell" and the film version starring Scarlett Johansson.
Secondly Discord is not the real world, though as you have felt the gamers can cause others distress. Sadly humans often need to be part of a group, and what better way that to put someone else down - even if they do not deserve it. Anyone looking at them from the outside will see they are cruel, immature and behaving very badly, probably to curry favor with the group. It is called bullying.
You are fortunate to have some good freinds that stand up for you -though really you do not need it. Leave Discord and look elswhere for amusement and civilized interaction with others.
Far from being ruined your experence has taught you how some people will behave, and make you more capable of coping with them in the future. It has also taught you some people are to be valued. These are abilities others look up to
Should anyone comment along the lines they have respond by saying, "yes, juvenile aren't they."
Because you have not been able to shrug this off as it deserves I would suggest you get some counceling to help you put it into perspective and live a happier life. You could start this wiht an extended GP consultation or thogh the Kids Help Line (phone, web-chat and talk wiht groups of others wiht similar problems - a very excellent service) and take it from there.

I don't agree with you that the only solution is to wait and wait. Doing htat not only makes for a very miserable life but also sort of goes round in a loop and you like yourself less and less and start to see things in the worst possible light as a result.
It can be better, as I found. Getting assistance from a counselor, psychologist or the Kids Help Line can make all the difference. There are tools to make you feel a whole lot better and they are the ones that can give them to you. It only takes one step
I was a total mess but now can enjoy life, if I can I'm sure you can too.
