I've had anxiety and depression for nearly as long as I can remember. Had many different treatments. Nothing really helped. When I have stomach and shortness of breath. I get sedated.basically I just deal with it day by day. I also have a lot of physical health issues. Diabetes. Diabetic nurophathy vascular disease both legs arthritis pain back and hips. I'm having daily panic attacks nausea and other things. That's all good pretty use to it. But last few weeks have been different high and low blood sugar , insomnia, thinking of dying all the time. Because I'm high risk of the virus, feeling like I'm not going to make it. Not much support around I keep to myself because of mood disorders. Not sure what I want to get from hereTake it as it comes.

Morning Craig - I was born in Hobart and lived in many different locations in and around there. At one stage I lived on acreage an hour out of the city, which I loved. I do miss that location to be honest. Do you like the rural area where you live?

Sounds like you are having a tad of trouble sourcing a decent GP also. Its frustrating about the meds situation - I was sort of in the same boat with an anti anxiety drug I was taking, all of a sudden after legislative changes docs didn't want to prescribe it anymore after freely doing so for many years. So do you actually still take that old pain medication or have you been unable to get it?

I hope your morning is treating you well Craig 🙂

Hi calm
Nice to see you about again. How have you been today. Looks like like we plugged away another day.great place to live here. I use to be outdoors person, work and fun.new pain specialist doctor is good he's overseeing all problems which I was lacking before. Trying different pain control with him. Found a lot of people here last night worst of than me. Jumped in and started chatting. Made me feel good. What sort of work do you do. I worked in Brisbane for five years, loved QLD.

That's awesome that you found some nice people to chat with Craig, so happy to hear that 🙂 These forums can be a blessing when we are feeling overwhelmed and lost.

How have your anxiety levels been today regarding the virus ? If you haven't already found it, there is a great thread in the Staying Well section called 'Coping during the coronavirus outbreak' - there is lots of info and chat and support for us anxious people going on there about this issue.

I hope the pain and nausea that you mention has been manageable today. You are very brave to deal with that everyday.

Sending you calm vibes for a peaceful night

Hi Craig. I definitely identified with your post. I have constant pain and don't sleep at all til bout 6-7am, then crash til noon. I've never experienced that in my whole life and I'm 70.

Being awake, and in bed almost 24/7 due to extreme fatigue, I've been overeating big time.

Am in a ghastly vicious spiral. Got nothing to do, no one to talk to, nowhere to go.

Am definitely getting depressed
