Hi Scott 🙂
My name is Kelsey and I'm 21 years old. I couldn't help but feel for you're current situation. It's hard to give advice when I don't know what you are going through.
My brother had a similar situation to you. The police used to come to our place all the time and check up on him and it was like they were wanting him to stuff up.
I would just take one day at a time. 🙂
nothing too bad will happen because if it was as bad as you're making yourself believe, you would be in jail.
It's easier said than done I know but you will be okay:) I promise you.
I really hope you feel better soon xx

Hi TGYH,
I don't hate you and I was a NSW policeman for thirty years!
Scotty2013 is right. No one remembers people that are identified in the media except maybe the Ivan Milat's and Bilal Skaf's. Ask anyone to name five people that have been convicted of murder in the last two years and you'll be hard pressed to find anyone that can. I guess if you are in a very small town it is a problem.
I do not know what the police did to mistreat you and I know not every police officer manages every situation well, but I do believe most police try to be as fair as possible so you must have had a bit of bad luck in your case.
Without knowing your situation, or if you actually did anything illegal or were exonerated, if the accusation was very serious, etc, it is hard to give you any good advice. I'm not sure about other states but in NSW the legal system is generally open and transparent (unlike some countries like North Korea or Turkey) and once people face open court, their names are public. (Unless they are children or the court makes a suppression order.) I think it is a good thing that the Government cannot secretly try people and does not have the ability to hold people incommunicado.
If you are able to give some brief details (if you wish) it might help clarify why you are the subject of so much attention, but really it is like Kelsey said. Whatever it was is done and you just have to move on one day at a time.
If I can help I will but I understand if you don't want my view.
Kind regards, John.
