Just want to say hi: diagnosed with agoraphobia

Aggy
Community Member

Hi everyone. I just signed up and wanted to say hi to all.

I started med treatment from my doc last week for severe anxiety and today was diagnosed with agoraphobia.

I'm a middle aged guy with no friends or family so it's great to have somewhere to come and compare notes.

You all seem very nice and supportive of each other. That makes me feel better already and think I will like it here.

That's my first post, so look after yourselves and I'm looking forward to making a friend or two.

Hi Girl.

Hope you are ok and all is well

Thanks so much for your message and things are going better than I hoped. I'm on the rollercoaster again and feel like I am getting better but unsure.

I think and hope you are doing well often.

Thanks again for your message.

Aggy,

I hope you are going better. The rollercoaster can be so exhausting. Yes it goes up, but going up isn't always enjoyable if you know you are going to go down again. At least thats my view. I probably should be happy to go up.

I am climbing out of my crash, maybe but I seem to keep falling down potholes. I am not entirely sure if it is over yet. Today is capable though. Not good, but capable.

Hope your days are also functional, if they can't be good right now.

Hey Girl.

I'm sorry, I thoughtI replied to your post

I hope you are well and everything is going ok for you.

Its really great to hear you seem to be feeling better I'm very happy about that. I need to hear as much positive information about mental illness that I can get. The weather is getting nicer and helps sometimes I think. I will tell myself anything that helps get through this stage of my life.

Don't be afraid to call by anytime and say hi, its always good to hear from you.

Hi Aggy,

Just thought I'd drop by and say hi. I was wondering how you were today, and hoping you were well.
