hey!
first of all, congrats for turning the acceptance corner! even if it feels like you're sliding back, i promise that nothing can erase progress and realizations once they've happened; progress is not linear and you're not being graded on efficiency!
finding that acceptance within yourself is kind of a perfect precursor to beginning to deal with other people's bullshit. i wish i could tell you that there was a foolproof way to convince others that you have a medical condition and that the anxiety generated by your brain is not your fault, but it's unfortunately true that some people are just not going to get it. in saying this though, it's certainly possible that over time they can become more understanding. when people care about you, their minds are more open to change. this might mean submitting to the mortifying ordeal of talking about your mental illness, but in my experience, once people feel like you're being open with them, they react positively.
no matter what happens tho, stay strong and know that we're all behind you!
