Anxiety all day and not eating

Hi everyone I’m at the end of my rope. I have suffered anxiety and health anxiety for over 20 years but the last 6 months has been terrible I’ve lost 8kg in 6 weeks and don’t want to eat I’m just at a loss I don’t have panic attacks I just feel rotten all day like vague and yuck it’s so hard to explain I just want to be well

Meditation is great 😊 I did one with my therapy for learning to watch my thoughts…..

meditation has taught me that I’m not my thoughts but the watcher of my thoughts, I can now sit back and observe my thoughts and not get caught up in them….

you could find many meditations on u tube or an app…. Have a google on your phone and see if you can find one that suits you…..

it takes practice and perseverance so stick to it…… I do mine before going to sleep…. I do guided ones….

I believe meditation got me over line….

I also did meta cognitive therapy it was great especially for OCD…. But I think it would help anyone with anxiety…….

Thank you it’s such a minefield trying to rid myself of this horrible feeling

I know it’s difficult and it’s a journey….

but from my mental health journey I had so much personal growth from it…. At the time I didn’t see this but now that I can reflect on it I can see how far I have come….

and you WILL grow too 😊 just hang in there and keep persevering…… you will learn to overcome what you are going through 😊 trust me there is a light at the end of the tunnel…..

while going through my journey I practiced gratefulness…. I still do this every day…..

I read a lot of positive affirmations ( it really helps to renew the mind)

hugging someone close to me helped…

mindfullness ( helped get me out of my own head)

You will get through this try some of the above and meditation……. It all takes practice and perseverance so stick with it…….
