Hey Aazi,
You're a great mum, but not a teacher - even qualified educators have difficulty teaching their own kids! They know how to press your buttons and get around authority.
How about you ask your 12 year old to help the 6 year old, and same with the 11 and 5? Challenge the closer aged children to 'finish first' for a prize or something. They might find that motivating (or equally not!) and take some of your load for a while at least. Remember, 'play time' is also good for learning - they'll sort it all out once back at school so smile and be grateful for what you don't have to put up with every other day!
Only a few more days... yay!

Hi Aazi,
I'm really glad you reached out to this forum to share your feelings. Recent pandemic situation has taken a toll on my mental health as well. It's completely normal to feel overwhelmed with homeschooling four children. I'm doing for two and working from home at the same time. I'll share what I've learnt through this experience. First of all, not to set the bar very high. I used to worry a lot about the quality of homeschooling during the first months of the pandemic. Then realised that I cannot make everything perfect. Second, consult kids' teachers as often as possible and ask for extra support. Third, find some time for yourself and your mental wellbeing. I know it's very hard for mums to find that 'me time', but trust me, it makes a lot of difference.
Wish you all the best!
