Hi not sure if I am doing this right? Finding it hard to drag myself out of the state I’m in. Feeling depressed and wanting it to stop.

Sorry to hear that you feel depressed and unmotivated. Is this feeling constant or does it only happen sometimes?

 

Always best to talk to your GP or a mental health professional.  

 

You can try going for a nature walk, it really does wonders sometimes. Also, listening to your favourite music or mindfulness helps too. Remember to reward yourself for every step forward no matter how small.

 

Is there anything I can do to help? Please don't feel alone. Happy to listen if you want to chat more.

Yes, me too. I am doing everything I can to beat it including exercising and socialising but everything is a struggle. I have lost my appetite and focus which worries me as I'm starting a new course at work tomorrow. I just want to snap out of it.

You’re doing fine by reaching out. I'm sorry you're feeling this way. Depression is tough, but you're not alone. Talking to a mental health professional can really help. Try to do small things that bring you some comfort or joy, even if it's just a little bit.
