Dear LaurenKMJ~
I'd like to welcome yuo here, and have already read your very sensible response to Magpie Mia.
I am pleased that you have sought professional help for your condition but am a little dismayed you are falling into the same trap so many of us do
> I'm stressed, anxious, depressed, nervous most of the time,
This is not a trivial matter, it affects one's while life (or mine anyway) and in no way should you feel a fraud. You have been diagnosed and are under treatment. It is true some may have more severe conditions but equally true some may have less.
May I ask what sort of support you provide? Is this for the employees of your company, church or in the community? Each has its own problems and difficulties, and I'd imagine in a small country town confidentiality might be an issue.
Appearing confident, wearing that mask, is something most people do, I have found the too much of a mask can be a bit of a trap too, as it does tend to isolate one, and there is always the idea at the back of one's mind that if one has to hide oneself, then oneself is not desirable or worthy.
As a person who helps others who is there to help you? It can be very much a burden, as is your mental health condition. You mentioned you were a single mum, does your offspring have a close relationship with you, perhaps you have family or friends to assist. Being able to talk frankly about problems makes things easier
You are welcome here anytime of course
