Hi
I walk a thin line but so far have managed to stay here. My only anchor , my dog Moose, is dying and I don't think i can stay without him.

Hi how are you & welcome to BB!
I replied bcas u brought me back to that sound anchor by birds of Tokyo, one of my favs have a listen.
Walking a thin line sounds tough can I ask what brought this on?
Losing a pet, one of the family is also tough, been through it over 5 times now. Lost dog, cats, birds, rabbit fish, mice. I cried each time but I did get through. I understand your walking a thin line, can I ask are there things you enjoy doing?
I go for long drives, spend time in the sun, shop. Trust me it all helps.
What can we do to help you in your time of need?

I'm Bipolar. I've had countless drugs and a stack of therapy but still haven't found that magic combo. Moose grounds me. He helps me hang on. There's only been one time that I was so low that I didn't care about him. He is always there for me. The only constant . I have things I enjoy but physical and mental pain have made these so much harder to achieve. I know there are many others having the same and probably worse problems than I but I'd just like at leadt a small break from myself . I know how to be positive, change my thought patterns, use distraction ect but nothing ever takes away the bad and I'm exhausted.

It truly breaks our heart when something awful happens to them, and I've been through the agony many times, it doesn't get any easier.
My last puppy I had for 18 years but she developed cancer and had an operation, but within a few months I had to rest her for good, but before this had to happen I got another puppy and that's the one on my photo and what I do is no different to the previous puppy.
I know what pain you are going through, I can't describe it because it's a personal feeling that only people who have known Moose would know about, but my deepest thoughts are with you, I know by saying this won't fill an empty hole when the time comes, but I truly mean it. Geoff.
