Hello Eviee

Welcome to the Beyond Blue forums

My name is Paul and have had anxiety for many years. I understand where you are coming from.

We most certainly can help you as fellow sufferers, no worries!

If you can let me know a little more about your anxiety and what sort of symptoms you get and how long you have had it for. You are more than welcome to post as many times as you wish. There are many very kind people on the forums that have what you do!

Kind Thoughts

Hi there Eviee. I'm from NSW, and I am also dealing with anxiety (ptsd and ocd) and some depression related to a long term injury I have. I have been a BB Forum member since November last year, and have found the forums to be very helpful. There are many lovely people here who will offer you advise and support.

It is lovely to meet you, and I hope you will tell us more about yourself as you find your way around the forums.

A big welcome to you, and I look forward to seeing more of you.

Hi Eviee. I'm a fellow Queenslander, otherwise known as the 'sunshine state'. Have been dealing with anxiety/depression for most of my life too. Narcissist parents in-laws, unsupportive hubby, I've had the lot. Everyone here on the forums have faced our demons as best as we can (with heaps of support). We all endure set-backs, but knowing we're never alone is the best part of the forums. Paul, Sherie and others you'll no doubt 'meet' will offer you encouragement, advise (where possible). The love you will receive from other 'family' members on the forums is something to be experienced. People who understand depression, anxiety, panic etc, are the one who help each other the most because they know how it feels.

hi Eviee, I'm pleased that you have joined this group of lovely people all who have had their own experience of not only their own depression and this includes all types, but someone they care for who is suffering.
I live in Victoria but living in different states doesn't really matter when we are talking about depression. Geoff. x

Hi Eviee,

Welcome to the forums, there are lots of people here and perhaps the quickest way to get to know a few on these forums is by posting in one of the Cafe threads you will find around. There are plenty from Queensland here who will understand life there and might be able to point you in the right direction. My friend Paul is very fond of the Meet up app on the phone for making new friends in the local area.
