Hi Peter, nice to meet you. You can call me Kathryn. I too have family members who have a mental disability, and have had for some time now. It can be difficult to know how to support someone or how to have that conversation about their mental health, but I have found resources on beyondblue and Mental Health First Aid Australia to be absolutely wonderful. I even ordered paper copies of some of the beyondblue resources, which have been great to have on hand to refer to, so I definitely recommend browsing the beyondblue site!
