It makes me so nervous writing here as my severe anxiety has paralysed me most of my teenage/adult life. I found out that now depression has joined the gang and we're all in this hot mess.
Not going to tell you my story because let's face it, we are all fighting our own battles but it's so interesting to me that we all have different stories but feel the same agony.
Its currently just one of those nights were my mind is tells me everything I don't want to hear.. i just worry worry worry about every single detail of my life..
first post first timer on something like this..now for me to press that ' post this trend' button. Feels Scariest moment of my life.
stay safe.

Hello Guest
A warm welcome to the forums and thankyou for posting too!
You have great courage by posting in the first place...and I also have had severe anxiety for 25 years and then the depression took over after so many years working through the anxiety...I understand where you are coming from.
You dont have to tell us anything...I am just happy you posted... Sounds like you have a 'tired' and racing mind....It can be a bad place to be in Guest...
You are not on your own here......I hope you can let us know what your 'feelings' are doing to you
My Kind Thoughts

It can be scary to take that first step, and although the anxiety may be telling you this was a bad idea, but trust me, were all in this together, I probably can't say 'the more the merrier' but you get the idea :P.
Don't let those late night thoughts get to you, you're a part of the family now, and we're here to listen to as little or as much as you want to tell.
I'm not very experienced in helping people with things like anxiety or depression, but I can give you my warmest empathy, and tell you that no matter what's going on, I, and we, are all proud of you 🙂
You stay safe too.

Yes it is true that each one of us have our own story where the majority of us have told people on this site all about the worst parts that have crippled us into submission, because it's too strong to tackle on our own, so we need help, not only from our doctor, psychologist but those who can tell us what they have been through themselves, that's how we intend to try and overcome this illness, but it's a long road and we slowly we are making head-way.
It's your story that we are interested in hearing and then those people who have been through similar circumstances can then jump on board and offer what they may have done to help themselves, so it is very important that now you're on the site to talk to us. Geoff.
