Hi Kizmit2729
Welcome to the forums and good on you for posting too!
There are many kind people on the forums that can be here for you that suffer the similar issues as you do
Beyond Blue have non judgemental & qualified support available 24/7 on 1300 22 4636 if you need a voice
Unfortunately we dont have the resources to recommend a Health Professional 😞
I hope this link comes in handy if you dont wish to call our support line....

I have depression and before that acute anxiety. Many GP's now have much better training nowadays in bpd depression and anxiety.....Have a chat to friends/family and see the GP that they are most happy with and book a double appointment....You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by doing so Kizmit 🙂
(just what I would do if I was in Sth Perth or anywhere for that matter)
you are not alone here Kizmit
my kind thoughts
Paul

Hi Kizmit2729,
I too welcome you to the forum. Paul has already given you some good advice.
Just to add to that, when I phone a medical clinic for the first time, I do ask if they have a Dr there who is especially qualified to assist with mental health issues. Some practises may have Drs who are more qualified in different fields.
You may find it beneficial to use the phone support number Paul mentioned while you are waiting to see a Dr. It may help you to discuss how you are feeling now so you do not spiral any further.
If it assists you to write more details here, then do so, this is a supportive, non judgemental place to share. There may be others reading who can offer you some advice and suggestions to help you.
Cheers for now from Dools
