Hello all,
Sometimes just doing the basics is so hard. It can be tough not to get down on ourselves when we’re struggling with things that ‘should’ be easy.
But we deserve to celebrate even the smallest achievements, because they are really feats of strength when you’re unwell. It’s ok if you can’t do everything. We know you’re doing your best, and that’s enough ☺️
What are 3 small (or big) achievements that you’ve had today?
For me: 1. I washed my hair
2. I drank two glasses of water
3. I sat out in the sun for 15 minutes
How bout you? Let’s cheer ourselves and each other on!

More about achievements for today/night.
Made the bed.
Ate an healthy meal.
Did the dishes, all dry and put away.
Did a litle bit of study after listening to a thought provoking public discourse.
Need to work on so many more achievements.
Taking One day at a time.
Some days are good, other days not so good.

Hey Klienekindt.
No worries at all, and thank you aswell.
I try my best to be like that, thanks for thinking those kind words, it means a lot, I appreciate it a lot too.
And of course I care, I always will, about you and everyone else on the forums, even if I haven't spoken to everyone, I still care, there's just endless threads to read but I'll try to read them all at some point.
Love and hugs,
Tayla x

I can't think of any achievements for myself lately or at all, but I've been reading people's comments saying they're taking things one day at a time, and that's what I'm trying to work on doing and improving, as hard as it is and can be.
Thanks for this thread, I enjoy reading positive things like this, it's inspiring really and it makes you think, in a good way. Really goes to show that's it's the little things in life that matter, and that small achievements can also be big. Even getting out of bed is an achievement because lots of people including myself know how hard it is, although it sounds easy.
Love and hugs to everyone, great things everyone has commented.

This a great Thread and it so encouraging to hear of the positive things happening in peoples lives.
Well I don"t have to go neurologist as often hopefully it will be once a year check up if no seizures
Also I only have now only have 12 monthly check ups for stroke I had last year.
I am feeling the best I have ever felt for a while now as not suffering depression as my well being is improved.
I am sure being involved in this forum has helped a lot.
Lets hear more good news.

Yes, Blufftuff, it's certainly a fantastic Thread to write down our personal achievements that we may So find difficult to do at times especially suffering from mh.
On Monday and Tuesday this week it had been raining non stop so heavily that many people in the neighbouring area were flooded out. It distressed me to hear and see it on t.v. Then came my turn, the water rising, just keep sitting not going anywhere. Having no or very little energy due to mh to do anything physically at all, I managed after a Big Self Talk to get my gum boots on, got a showel and with all my strength and might hand dug trenches so the water could escape. It took so much from me that I almost passed out from the exertion of this very hard work. Then had to release the water tanks. By that time I was standing knee deep in water trying to push it downhill with a big broom. Though this may be a reasonable task for most people but for me, I felt I had Pushed Mt Everest. Certainly paid the price both physically and mentally on Wednesday. Was barely functioning. Went out on Wednesday eve to have a look to see how things were. Was well worth the hard work. All flood waters gone, thus saving property.
I was sinking back into the dark hole again, not as fast previously, have absolutely no control over it so when all this strange weather patterns starting going haywire with dangerous electrical storms to flash flooding, it affected my mh severely. So this was my achievement for the last few days. That's why I find this Thread so encouraging. I'll get through all this again by reading many good positive things happening on the BB Forums.
Thanks Everyone:)
With kind regards to All at BB.

1. Went to a new psych.
2. Walked.
3. Reached out to a friend.
Only the walk was successful out of those three. It’s making an effort which I’m counting as wins.
Goodluck everyone.
