Hello all,
Sometimes just doing the basics is so hard. It can be tough not to get down on ourselves when we’re struggling with things that ‘should’ be easy.
But we deserve to celebrate even the smallest achievements, because they are really feats of strength when you’re unwell. It’s ok if you can’t do everything. We know you’re doing your best, and that’s enough ☺️
What are 3 small (or big) achievements that you’ve had today?
For me: 1. I washed my hair
2. I drank two glasses of water
3. I sat out in the sun for 15 minutes
How bout you? Let’s cheer ourselves and each other on!

It's only just after 9am, so that encourages me that I have done these things already:
... Drunk my greens drink of spirulina, barley grass, wheat grass and moringa
.... Drunk my curcumin/black pepper drink
.... Drunk 2 glasses of water (needed for the above powdered supplements)
... sat outside facing the sun for around 20 minutes. So got some vitamin D

Hiyyaa Alexlisa,
Today I did laundry, sat outside, and reorganised and managed to (safely!) keep up with most of my schedule despite the virus outbreak!

Hi everyone, I forgot to post mine for yesterday (March 18th), oops. So yesterday's was:
- Seeing my Psychiatrist, he freed his schedule to see me, it meant a lot.
- Going on new meds but waiting for the prescription so taking a lower dosage of my current ones.
- Saw the GP and told her.
- Told the Pharmacist about my new meds although they seemed confused.
Today all I did was email the Telehealth company with an email for my Psychiatrist asking him if he can fax and post the prescription to the Pharmacy as they requested that.

Hi Tay,
The green drink is exactly what I said it was. Its a mixture of barley grass, wheat grass, spirulina and moringa dried then ground fine into a powder. I buy it from Forest Super Foods online. I am aiming to take 1 tablespoon in morning and 1 at night. When you mix it in water it's extremely green. Takes a bit of getting used to the taste. You can add it to smoothies, but I just take it straight.
The curcumin is extracted somehow from the tumeric root. It's a bright orange powder. It's good for inflammation in our bodies. The pepper in it is needed to help the body utilise the curcumin more efficiently. I have only just started taking that. I am aiming to take 1/2 teaspoon three times a day. I mix it in a tiny bit of soy milk, then the rest water. It's a beautiful bright orange coloured drink. I also buy this powder online.
Gosh that is a long answer for you. I have a huge nterest in healthy eating and healing ones body.
Hope you my okay with the essay Tay

Hi Shelll
Oooo moringa? What's that? Sounds funky!
And yes, I love some good anti-inflammatory powders too. I try and take a general powder (for economic purposes) that has curcumin and other highly concentrated goodies in it to take with fresh juice, as a VitC shot of sorts. You are correct, the flavour is definitely something you have to let grow on you but it's such a part of my routine so I bear it. I also love oil of oregano- very cheap, multipurpose, mild taste, can be taken at any time- have you heard of it?

Moringa is a funky name hey. It comes from leaves on a tree. I cannot remember the name of the tree at the moment. But it's picked, dried and ground into a powder. It's good for inflammation also, has antioxidants, amino acids and other nutrients.
I would like to know more about oregano oil. Is it an essential oil that you take? And what's it good for?
I do know fresh oregano is super good for us.
Hey maybe we good start another thread if you are interested to discuss further.

Hello Everyone,
Thank you so much for sharing your achievements here. It is so encouraging.
Today I manage to achieve controlling a possible panic attack at the Dr surgery while waiting. Things had changed in there, chairs moved further apart, no magazines or newspapers and a line marked on the floor as to how far away you should stand from the reception desk.
I called into work to ask if I still have a job and if so what my role would be on the weekend.
I felt really tired this afternoon so had an hour's snooze instead of denying myself to something that would be beneficial.
Cheers all

Hi all. Thanks Tay!
Sorry to hear about your panic attack Doolhof.
Today my achievement was getting my meds sorted, had to get my Psychiatrist to fax them to the pharmacy, thank goodness so my anxiety is over about that for now.
Tayla
