Hi everyone..
Their are days when just getting out of bed is a huge achievement...Other days we can achieve things like washing up the dishes or clothes, sweeping the floors, mopping the floors..very mundane and automatic robot like chores for the mentally well...They do these chores without even thinking about them...for people struggling with their mental health..these are huge tasks...
Very often I’ll get my vacuum cleaner out to vacuum ...then it will sit their for days, me looking at it, walking over it...until I can get motivated enough to vacuum..after I do find the motivation to vacuum...I am pleased with myself...
Right now I have a small foot cycling peddle machine, sitting on my front veranda..I got it out last week..to start exercising..it’s still their, I’m still looking at it...My thoughts each night is I’ll use it for a few minutes tomorrow..
My car hasn’t been washed getting close to a year now I think...Today I did managed to wash it....and discovered that it has a nice shine on it.....I did it...I achieved something positive today..which made me feel better in myself...
Have you achieved a little something today...and how did it make you feel...If you want to share that achievement it might make other people a bit more motivated to achieve something they need/want to do..
Looking forward to hearing about your achievement....and how it made you feel..
Little steps and achievements can lead to bigger steps..and bigger achievements...
My kindest and most caring thoughts...everyone.
Grandy...

Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for sharing your achievements, each one is to be recognised and acknowledged. It is so easy to concentrate on what is not going to plan rather than what we have managed to accomplish.
My small achievement today will be going for a walk. My huge achievement will be getting in the car and driving to work as I would really like a mental health day today at home! I've just had 2 days off work so I really do need to return to work today, I guess!!!

Today I am heading off to work with a different attitude than yesterday, I can only do what is possible for one person, if people have to wait they will have to accept that.
I went for a walk and looked for opportunities to take photos on my phone that I can share with a friend who has multiple issues to deal with at present.
I swept the floor.

Dools
I like that you can only do what one person can do, zI think we often have high e pecations or unrealistic ones.
i got up early to catch an early train and wasn’t grumpy nor did I argue with partner..

Hi our lovely Grandy 👩❤️👩 and everyone here and readers ☺
I really like this thread Grandy it's inspiring and even sad at times knowing how hard things are for so many though at the same time fantastic seeing the achievements.
Well done everyone these are things that we need to remember...often. we're finding things can be done. Boomer!
@ Alice77 Just wanted to mention to you darl apart from welcoming you to this awesome caring community 💗 that your post was really good. It's one I've been thinking about a lot and have copied and saved it.
Not only well written you're finding ways to work through. It's about being proactive which everyone here is.
Kudos and best to you on your journey and to everyone that goes for.
My achieve today is doing some more catch up posts that also was mentioned I think by kitty 💗 that laters ok. Liking that because it gets done minus feelling pressure.
Also have to prepare by getting a bit fit doing some ouchy but they say necessary towards healing exercises. When I get a chunk of weight off which WILL happen slowly ....I'm GETTING A NEW HIP 😀😀😀😀😀 Stoked!
Cyaz... oh left extra smiles for everyone there they release endorphins studies have shown when people do that to eachother. I think that's right too. It's a good feeling.

Hi everyone,
I am so proud of everyone here - truly. I can completely understand somedays it can be so difficult to be proud of ourselves, I really like the idea of even finding one small thing can really help to lift one's mood.
My small achievement today was cleaning my room! It was really messy and making me feel anxious even time I stepped into my room so I am really proud of myself that I tackled this.

Missep123, I did that the other day, it felt blissful after weeks of having it so disorganised and messy.
Today, I've been focusing on replying to posts on the forums. After a hectic week, it feels nice to be able to finally take some time away and focus on helping others, I'm so grateful for this community 🙂

Organisation is a great way to feel more motivated.
I went out on a first date today, which was a somewhat unfamiliar and anxiety-inducing experience for me as I haven't been out on one in a long time. It was out of my comfort zone, but I'm glad I got the courage to go out.
