Hi everyone..
Their are days when just getting out of bed is a huge achievement...Other days we can achieve things like washing up the dishes or clothes, sweeping the floors, mopping the floors..very mundane and automatic robot like chores for the mentally well...They do these chores without even thinking about them...for people struggling with their mental health..these are huge tasks...
Very often I’ll get my vacuum cleaner out to vacuum ...then it will sit their for days, me looking at it, walking over it...until I can get motivated enough to vacuum..after I do find the motivation to vacuum...I am pleased with myself...
Right now I have a small foot cycling peddle machine, sitting on my front veranda..I got it out last week..to start exercising..it’s still their, I’m still looking at it...My thoughts each night is I’ll use it for a few minutes tomorrow..
My car hasn’t been washed getting close to a year now I think...Today I did managed to wash it....and discovered that it has a nice shine on it.....I did it...I achieved something positive today..which made me feel better in myself...
Have you achieved a little something today...and how did it make you feel...If you want to share that achievement it might make other people a bit more motivated to achieve something they need/want to do..
Looking forward to hearing about your achievement....and how it made you feel..
Little steps and achievements can lead to bigger steps..and bigger achievements...
My kindest and most caring thoughts...everyone.
Grandy...

Hello everyone....🤗..
I love reading all your achievements..they are all so inspiring and helping so many people to get that tiny ounce of motivation to achieve something...
Well done Deebi, 17 kilos...that’s a huge achievement over time...small achievements can become a great big achievement when they are blended together...
Sleepy well done going for a walk around the park...as hard as I try I just cannot myself to be outside walking alone...I wish I could..but it’s really frightening for me to be walking alone..,,
Quirky...Wow, that must have been so hard for you to do..I know like me..you apologise for things you don’t do wrong...very hard habit to break...so very well done....
I mowed my lawn yesterday..it took 3 half hours in between completing it all....Today I needed to rest..as my body isn’t getting any younger...seems it just wants to grow old and sore....
Kind thoughts everyone...
You’re all amazing people...
Grandy...

Hello Sleepy. Awesome job to give yourself some commendation after you had walked around the park. Love the way you had made yourself a makeshift dinner. Oftentimes they are the best meals! Yesterday, *(sorry I always seem to be a day behind when posting)* did some clothes washing, hung on clothesline, all dry and folded. Made bed. Cleaned toilet/bathroom/laundry all fresh sparkling clean. Took in wheelie bins. Was a huge of an effort on my part yet a satisfied what had been accomplished. Take care

thanks Ezzi - re what yuo noted on the coping with covid forum, i have had a really hard time for a long time, and am working on staying well, loving the little wins, and sharing them with u here
i thought of you the other day when i packed up some vegetables in a little bag and took them with me to snack on - huge achievement of organisation etc!!
well done on cleaning ur bathroom!!!
today i cleaned the bathroom tiles with vinegar and i was so pleased with how clean they came up, i mopped and it didn't look great, so i went over it again with watr, vinegar and a micro fibre clothe. It was really satisfying, and looks shiney, which makes me proud!!

Wow cleaning your bathrooms, power on ladies!
I did our food shopping early this morning.
P.son went in first to do his shopping.
When he came out, then I could go in to our family shopping.
Loved that there were some great bargains on food my kids love to eat lol.

Dear topsy. Those biscuits you had baked sounds so you. My mouth is watering just reading about it. My achievement for Saturday was i didn't watch or hear any news It felt so wonderful to get away from that negativity that's going on. Focused on looking on good postive things and in turn i felt a whole lot better within myself. Take care Everyone

G'day All, my "small" achievement today was to arise at about 7 am, feeling fully refreshed.
Some call that a small achievement which is why I present it here, but truly it is a monumentally wonderful achievement for a person whose sleep hygiene is as mine is.

Hello everyone...
Thank you Ezzi, I am pleased this thread helps to motivate you and others here...
Today I got so sick of looking at my garden filled with more weeds then plants and flowers...Although weeds are okay..but not in my garden...
So today I spent a long time sorting out the weeds, from my plants and took them all out...(well most of them)..then turned the soil around a bit with a small spade...
Now my garden looks quite beautiful with the daisies, irises, peter pans and a gorgeous big white Lillie’s all blooming with lovely colours...
My back hurts, my legs hurt but my eyes are so happy now..
Was it worth it?....It sure was.. 💐 🌸🌺🌹..
Kind thoughts beautiful people..
Grandy..
