Small achievement you managed to do today....How did it make you feel? Did it help you feel better today?

Hi everyone..

Their are days when just getting out of bed is a huge achievement...Other days we can achieve things like washing up the dishes or clothes, sweeping the floors, mopping the floors..very mundane and automatic robot like chores for the mentally well...They do these chores without even thinking about them...for people struggling with their mental health..these are huge tasks...

Very often I’ll get my vacuum cleaner out to vacuum ...then it will sit their for days, me looking at it, walking over it...until I can get motivated enough to vacuum..after I do find the motivation to vacuum...I am pleased with myself...
Right now I have a small foot cycling peddle machine, sitting on my front veranda..I got it out last week..to start exercising..it’s still their, I’m still looking at it...My thoughts each night is I’ll use it for a few minutes tomorrow..

My car hasn’t been washed getting close to a year now I think...Today I did managed to wash it....and discovered that it has a nice shine on it.....I did it...I achieved something positive today..which made me feel better in myself...

Have you achieved a little something today...and how did it make you feel...If you want to share that achievement it might make other people a bit more motivated to achieve something they need/want to do..

Looking forward to hearing about your achievement....and how it made you feel..

Little steps and achievements can lead to bigger steps..and bigger achievements...

My kindest and most caring thoughts...everyone.
Grandy...

Today I had my first market stall at a small market, it was slow and I made my stall fee. I used to have stall before I had my shop. It was tiring and emotional but I did it. I won’t have a shop again band. I was pleased I had the stall even though it took a lot of effort.

Heyyyy well done quirk that's fantastic. Much luck for the future with it . rx

Hi grandy , yeah it's nice to unclutter too for sure but where l was coming from far more so is just life. Born in the wrong time l'm afraid , really the wrong country too for what Australia and it's people mostly , have become.

Yaknow , l live pretty simply especially when my partners not here but l do have my business and that certainly complicates life though. But whatever you do here , doesn't matter , they're always chasing us or sending mail , they even have our bloody ph numbers , gov's, agencies , bills , answering to chis filling out that , you even get bloody fined if you don't vote, can't even use the idiot new parking meters, yaknow ,cameras every bloody where, there's just so much bs in life especially here, there's just no soul , just like our pm. My Slovenian friend tells me a lot about there over the yrs and this last 2yrs she just moved to spain with her bf. They send me lots of stuff, there's just so much so much soul and good will with the people and the way they live , treat ea other. They have free markets and wine festivals all you can drink, 10ltr wine casks , real wine from the vine yards around, Card board cartons none of this big fancy printed up covers and plastered in pretty pictures , so simple , refreshing. They roam forests near her place and pick fruit everywhere , statues of poets and painters not bloody footballers, there's just so much soul . And they can live anyway they want , gov's and agencies and bills and all of it don't hound them to death there , million dollar house in the burbs mortgages ,insane bills and costs of living , for everything, she hasn't even heard of 3/4 of the garbage we put up with here. He's never even had a fine in 40yrs, wouldn't know what it was.

l just wanna get rid of it all , live of grid , and off the idiocy of life these days.

rx

today i cleaned up the kitchen a tiny bit. I had some used plates sitting in my lounge, I cleared the debris into the garbage and sat them in the kitchen. Next step will be to watch them, but felt nice to create that boundary of removing them from the lounge. My lounge can get really cluttered, so this felt nice to at least have the clutter "out of sight, out of mind" until I can be bothered washing them. Yes to clean spaces and clear minds.

I started some long needed decluttering, I am guilty of holding onto thing I will never use again. Cleaned out my wardrobe, anything I hadnt worn in the last 12months went to vinnies, filled the recycle bid with paperwork I dont need to be holding onto and another bin with wothless rubbish. Kept uncovering more of my wifes shoes everywhere in the end I gave 3 large tubs with over 60 pairs shoes and asked if she could at least sort them into those she wears those she might and the rest.

There is sleepy , dog eat dog , and they seem to love it , or don't even notice the such lack of soul. Yeah it's incredible when they send stuff , pics and stories about something they're doing or did , living , soooo envy , but envy's so bad for you to right , so l usually just try to just write it off in my mind as her world my world .

Fantastic you've reorganized anyway , know uv had some probs there lately so l hope it helps and you can be more comfortable.

Have a nice sunday eh. rx

I hear u rx. we should all be able to live in that society. total dog eat dog at times, can get u down. A lot.
Hope ur good.
Thanks , it's nice to have support here 🙂

hi all,

washed a bunch of dishes as i was cooking

"adult" behaviour i seem to forget at times.

No dirty dishes in the sink, still have to sort through them tomorrow and put everything away but at least it's more hygenic and fresh to have a clean sink and dishes

made a cup of tea to accompany my dinner, had some salad as well and some fresh soup
